*In a wrestling company everybody from the wrestlers themselves to the guys that screw the ring railing together play a very important part in the production of a sports entertainment show. Everybody involved must band together to create the best show possible for the fans, and for their paychecks of course. The entire company brings their respectable skills to the table, and give maximum effort in the execution of the sport of champions, regardless of their position. Some get recognized, mainly wrestlers or announcers, for their superior work and some never get the recognition that they so rightfully deserve. Some find immediate success, and some wait it out, lusting for opportunity to strike after such long and agonizing times. Dusty J is only twenty five years old, not hardly one you would put in the latter category of professional wrestler, in fact, he's far more similiar to the first one, immediate success. He was the quickest rising rookie in professional wrestling history, main eventing two consecutive pay-per-views after just three months in the company, highlighted by main eventing against the legendary DJ 'The Judgemaker'. Dusty is now at his house relaxing, opting not to make the trip to Italy until later. He is watching old video clips of Shawn Hunt in UWF, preparing for their upcoming battle on Rage. In the room with him is Greg Dixson, who, as you know, serves as a cameraman as well as being Dusty's friend. Greg is working tonight, filming Dusty for a promo. Dusty pauses the video and look towards Greg's camera lense.*

They say that isn't what you have that counts, it's what you give. You might not be the most talented wrestler, writer, actor, accountant or whatnot, but something you do have control of is making sure that you give maximum effort to what you're doing. I've always been regarded as a major player in EFW, and it has always been said that my talent matches just about anybody, but I also give it my all, I put the pieces of the puzzle together. It isn't just about having the talent, it's about working hard and making sure that you can harness it, and then, only then, can you be successful. Hard work and determination can indeed go a long long way, so can talent, but the two together, are unbeatable.

*Dusty unpauses the movie and watches as Shawn Hunt easily dispenses of some jobber, who from what he hears, made up over half of the UWF roster. On the video, Hunt beats the jobber using his patented 8 ball impact, and then a cocky lateral press to win the match. Dusty smirks and then pauses the movie again.*

I see that you can take care of guys who don't even deserve to step foot into the ring, that's good and all, but you're dealing with an entirely different monster here Mr. Hunt. You can have all the talent in the world, but how much exactly are you giving to give out there? After all, you are thirty six years old, maybe you could be losing a step or two. You've seemed to be in the business a long time, given your age, and i'll bet that i'm atleast twice as fast as you. How are you going to catch me Shawny? I'm going to be like the point guard and you the big bulky center, I would run circles around you any and every day of the week. You'll get dizzy just from watching me. You've been around, UWF, and i'm sure various other places, but you've never been here Hunt. You've never dealt with Dusty J, you've never dealt with Dangerously Hardcore Wrestling. Your boys thought it would be a free ride over my team last week, but it didn't happen. It wasn't even close. We more or less played with them for the entire match, wondering why they would choose to talk trash if they can't deliver. Maybe they did have the talent but didn't give it their all, but I doubt that. It seems more to me like they were banking on a scheming referee to take them to the promise land. Hell, where were you Hunt? The way that match went, we could have taken on you chumps 5-4 and still kicked ass the entire time.

I guess what i'm asking Hunt is, what do you bring to the table? What do you bring that hasn't been seen in this business before? If you don't bring anything new, then good luck against me Hunt, and I mean that, because you're really going to need it. I've brought so many things to the table over my brief career that guys think it's ridiculous. I've never heard of you until you came here Shawn, and you're thirty six years old. How come i've never heard of you? I follow the world of professional wrestling just as closely as guys like Brett Haynes and Jeremy Nolin do, and just by chance you got in here at EFW, but it wasn't because of your own ability, it's because your buddy Devastator got you in.

Yeah, I know Shawn, the truth hurts, doesn't it? Lets face it Hunt, you're here as Devastator's lackey and nothing more. Do you think i'm lying? Pulling your strings? Fibbing? Bluffing? Yanking your chain? Telling a tall tale? Well, i'm not Shawn. Think about it buddy, you're not that young, by the looks of these videos, you're not that talented, and judging by these as well, you don't bring a whole damn lot to the table. Well, I guess this is the first time that anyone's ever told you the truth about all of that huh? You're sad aren't you? No? Maybe dissapointed? No? In denial? Probably so. You're going to deny it of course, you'll always deny it until the day you finally retire and come to the realization that you're here in EFW on a free ride. I will tell you this too, it isn't going to be a fun ride for you. I'm going to make sure that your first time around is going to be pure hell, because I don't appreciate it when guys who are here due to no merit of their own get put high in the card, against a guy like me who has constantly been challenged week after week, i've worked my ass off and all you have done is ride coattails, that doesn't sit well here.

You know, it's kind of like how it is with kids with you Shawn. One day the kid will challenge his dad to a game of checkers. The kid is excited as hell because he's got a few wins under his belt, but little does he remember that the one that taught him the game was his pops. The father usually goes easy on the son, you know, as to not crush his fragile little feelings. So game after game after game the kid keeps beating his dad, and then he gets cocky. The kid starts winning more against his peers too, and then beats his dad some more. Then he quits playing his dad because his old man "isn't good enough". But eventually the old man challenges the young pup and kicks his ass in checkers, no contest. No more mercy shown. The dad had the ability all along, but didn't give it his all, because he wanted to instill some confidence in the kid, and eventually he learns not to mess with the man that brought him into this world. The father saw his little neanderthal son get cocky and shut him down at the source. Even though your UWF buddies lost to DHW, your 'boss' Devastator is still talking trash, it's unbelievable, well Hunt, i'm going to make sure you're not able to talk when i'm done with you. I'm not going to half heart it like the father. I'm going to cut straight to teaching the neanderthal a lesson that he will never forget.

*Dusty then looks down at the checkerboard on the coffee table infront of him and makes a quick triple jump, which eliminates all remaining blacks from the table.*
