*With EFW clearly about to become the "Next Big Thing" in professional wrestling, there is no doubt that President Brett Haynes is trying to assemble the most elite free agent wrestling talent from around the globe. Haynes has much experience in this field, as he has been VP of a very successful wrestling company before, perhaps the most legendary ever, Dangerously Hardcore Wrestling. It is there he met Dusty J. The then 21 year old rookie shot up the ranks and became a double champion, and headlined a PPV event in the World Title match in only his third month with the company. Haynes knew that Dusty was a free agent, and big name talent around the world of wrestling. With that knowledge in hand, Brett made a call to Gregory Dixson, Dusty's best friend and personal cameraman; Dusty was out on a social engagement, but Dixson left a message. That is where we start off, Dusty J's house in Hollywood, California, the living room to be more precise. Gregory is sitting on the sofa watching Cops on tv when Dusty walks through the door. Greg gives him a "hello" nod, which Dusty returns, then walks over to the sofa and plops down beside Greg. Greg picks up the piece of paper with Brett's message on it and hands it to Dusty.*

Don't leave me out in the cold Greg, who's this phone message from?

You're not going to believe it man, but it's from Brett, you know, DHW Brett?

Oh yeah, I haven't seen him in a long long time, where's he been? What's he up to?

He just wants you to call him man, the number is right there on the slip of paper.

*Dusty nods to Greg, picks up the piece of paper, walks over to the phone and dials the number. He walks off into the kitchen. Greg flips channels and finds America's Stupidest People on the FOX network. He begins cracking up at the site of stupid people, but wait, don't stupid people watch the FOX network? Dusty comes out from the kitchen and hangs up the phone. He walks back to the couch and plops down on it beside Greg again. He offers a high five, and Greg gives it to him.*

So what's up buddy? Did Brett finally get laid?

Don't be ridiculous man. But even better, he's starting his own promotion, calling it the EFW, Elite Fantasy Wrestling. He knew my current status, you know, the XWA thing didn't work out, so he offered me some work. Best of all, i'll be headlining their first event, a house show in Canada against this guy named Cyclone.

That's awesome man. It'll be awesome to see Brett again. Is anybody else from the old crew going to be there?

Unfortunately no, everybody has something that they're doing right now. Jeremy is living it up in Cancun, the guy is loaded you know? Nemesis is off wrestling in Japan, shootfighting and whatnot. Hell Razors, well, they're doing some stuff for the Ultimate Fight I hear, I don't know if it's just rumor or not though. ELO is wrestling in Mexico, hear he got himself a World Title. But as for most of those other guys, they're either out of the business or nobody even knows where they're at, so it's just me as far as that's concerned. But that's ok, I don't need those other guys to be successful.

True enough, true enough. What do you know about your opponent, the Cyclone?

Well, he's a mix between The Hurricane, Earthquake, Typhoon, and The Texas Tornado! Ha ha, no but seriously, he's supposed to have some sort of promo video or something out that somebody shot. I'll bet it's on EFWElite.com, that site has everything wrestling, according to Brett of course. Lets log on and check that out right quick.

*Dusty and Greg get up and head over to the computer, which is in the far left corner of the living room. Dusty takes a seat and logs onto his internet service, which is absolute crap so it takes forever to get to the EFW website. When it finally loads, he clicks on the "Superstars" page and on "Cyclone" then to "Videos" where he finds a link to the promo video. They check it out in its entirety before logging off. Dusty spins in his computer chair to face Greg.*

That was weird.

You're telling me, I don't think i've ever seen anything like that before, it's just strange.

Do you think it's just a big front?

As far as I can tell, no. He has this really intense look in his face, and he's as emotionless as can be. That's the sign of a no frills kind of competitor man, basically, he's your complete opposite in terms of everything.

That kind of guy is always tough to tango with. You never know what they're thinking, and they don't make stupid mistakes like taunting in the middle of a match, should be interesting.

Judging from the roster they have, it looks like you're the biggest name on there, and by the way they booked the card, it looks like this Cyclone guy is going to be their big thing, their draw, their moneymaker.

Yeah, I kind of noticed that too. But i'm wondering Greg, why is it that he would be their big draw? I'm the bigger name, it's not like i'm some washed up old bro, i'm 25 years old. How old is he?

Twenty. You know man, maybe they want you to be the franchise player and to knock this kid around to prove it.

You know I really don't think so, but you know what? It's ok. I've been the underdog before, I like it, I thrive on it. Cyclone seems like a fairly good competitor, but the experience edge is definitely mine, and that plays a big part, like the Eagles and Patriots, the team with the experience in the big game won the big game. I've done it all man, everything there is to do.... except...

*Dusty doesn't speak. He knows, and Greg knows, what he hasn't yet done in the business, win a World Title. He's been an Extreme Champion, Cruiserweight Champion, and just about everything else, but never won the biggest prize in any company he's wrestled for. EFW he hopes will be different, it's why he signed on the dotted line for a minimized price to help Brett and the wrestlers out, it's why he's still wrestling today instead of living off his parents' fortune, it's his and every other wrestlers main goal no matter where they may be. He looks up at Greg with an intense look in his face and nods to him.*

I've known you for a long time man, and let me tell you, Cyclone, no matter how different he is than me, no matter how talented he may be, no matter how intimidating he may be, he isn't better than me. I'm going to Canada to start a championship run. Lets go man, it's time to hit the road. The road to the EFW World Title.

*Greg nods. He jogs up the stairs to his room to get packing. Dusty sits at the computer chair still, and begins browsing the EFW's website once more. Remember, that's EFWElite.com, don't forget.*
