Masteries
Masteries represent a suite of powers that focus on one element or force. The most obvious examples of characters with a mastery are Storm (weather), Iceman (ice), and Magneto (magnetism). Every Mastery's Cost Level is equal to its AN plus any options chosen. There are a few, like magnetism that have 2 added to their CL due to how much they can effect.
A character can have multiple masteries, but they must be separate actions.
All masteries have the following options in common (unless otherwise noted in their description):
Immunity to the effects of chosen element (+1)
Can transform into element (+1)
Create/Manipulate element (+1)
Force Blast with appropriate effect (+1)
Absorb stones of attack of same element as Mastery (+1)
Regenerate 1 extra stone per Panel while in an area appropriate to you Mastery (+1)
Must exist as your element of Mastery only (this results in a certain loss of humanity) (-1)
Accumulate energies over time for major effect. Stunned for a panel afterward. (+2)
Free Force Field at Full AN (+2)
Can combine Mastery Stones with Close or Ranged Combat (+2)
Unlimited Create/Manipulate: Includes barriers, object creation and working devices (+5)
May buy Flight or other movement related to Mastery at -1 CL
