Advantages

These are options that you can add to actions and modifiers to add to their flavor, and make them better.  These will add to the cost of the action or modifier that you add it to.

Attack against Ability + defensive stones to disable                     +3 levels
2x damage (extra stones come from GP)                                       +2 levels
3x damage (extra stones come from GP)                                       +4 levels
Area attack or 2x damage (but no both at once)                          +4 levels
Extra Ability Bonus/Weapon Modifier@                                    +5 levels
Disables if any damages occurs (i.e. knocked out, paralyzed etc)   +5 levels
Attack vs. enemy Ability (instead of their defensive stones)        +6 levels 

 

Disadvantages

These are options that you can add to actions and modifiers to add to their flavor, and make them less effective.  These will lower the cost of the action or modifier that you add it to.

May only be used in conjunction with a different Action/Modifier (specify which) -1 level
Mat only be used to save lives                                                                             -1 level
Directly affects only non-living substances (living beings reflect the power back) -1 level
No Bonus (only if the power comes with one)                               -2 levels
Can't be improved by adding lines                                             -2 levels
Stone cannot be split between attack and defense                       -2 levels
Power out of control without device (i.e. Cyclops)                        -2 levels
Counterattack only; may not initiate attack (combat actions only)  -2 levels
Power weaker when away from power source                                -2 levels
Action/Modifier does not help friends                                        -2 levels
Only works in Limbo (Astral Plane, etc)                                       -2 levels
