Welcome and thank you for deciding to play Tallon!  We hope you enjoy this game as much as we enjoyed creating it!  
The following are installation instructions and basic commands and controls to get you started in the game.

Installation:

Included in the download file is a program named Setup.exe.  Double-click to run this program.  
It will begin the installation process, but first it will ask you where you want to install it.  We reccomend you install it to the 
default directory to save yourself time and frustration when attempting to play it later.  You also have the options of adding 
a folder (it will be named RPG Maker 2000,  and contained within it will be a link to the game) as well as an uninstall option.  
You may select those as you wish.  

Once installed, you can run the game by clicking on the game icon under Start Menu, Programs, RPG Maker 2000 folder 
(if you selected that icon) or you may go and find it in the root directory of where you installed it.
(default is c:/program files/ascii/rpg2000/tallon)

Basic Controls:

Below is the keys that are used in Tallon and what they each do.

Up arrow key (or numpad 8)		Moves character/cursor up
Down arrow key (or numpad 2)	Moves character/cursor down
Left arrow key (or numpad 4)	Moves character/cursor left
Right arrow key (or numpad 6)	Moves character/cursor right

Spacebar		Accept / Engage in conversation
Enter key		Accept / Engage in conversation
Esc key		Bring up menu / Cancel

Alt-F4		Immediately quit without saving
F4 key		Change from full screen to window
F5 key		Change from 1240x760 resolution to 800x600 resolution 
F6 key		Change from 800x600 resolution to 1240x760 resolution
