Trapped between two glass plates and electronically activated, the plasma produces a controlled energy that is instantaneously transformed into color images by red, green and blue phosphors. RCA combines this technology with the unique Capsulated Color Filter process: a grid of colored micro-filters positioned on the screen. The fidelity of the colors is so high, they are virtually identical to the colors in nature. In fact, they are indistinguishable.

Capsulated Color Filter technology by allowing simple and accurate adjustment of on-screen color temperature settings through the monitor’s on-screen user menus.
