Summer sunsets
Orange and red and pink and yellow
Across the fields, in golden splendor
Shining the last rays of day

Deer graze in the twilight
Frogs call out in the night
Birds sing the world to sleep
And stars are light in dreams

Morning comes, in green and gold and blue
Larks herald the sunrise to the earth
Golden light shines on dewy grass
Now turned to jade and molten gold

Noon comes, and the sun shines bright
The earth is warm
As the sun begins its descent
To a summer sunset
