Crystal Snowflake The snow falls, sparkling And I fall with it. I ride on the back of a snowflake, A tiny crystal star. I see the white world beneath me, Icicles, clear and cold, Frozen rivers, frosted evergreens, Snow, tiny crystal stars. Slowly I twirl downward, In the crisp, still winter air. Riding a falling star Carefully crafted of the purest crystal. My star sets, And soon the crystal disappears into green. There are rivers to ride, leaves to journey with, But my heart is with snow's crystal stars.
