Twisting of the Truth

Normal. No one's normal. To be normal is to be abnormal. Who's to say what
is normal and what is not? Is there a criteria that has to be met? Is
someone constantly watching, keeping count of the "normal" things we do?
Who's to say being abnormal isn't normal?

The continuous wanting to fit in; the material things to buy; the
initiantions and inductions that have to be done - That's what we go through
to be "normal".

But what about the individual? The one who does what is pleasing to him, and
doesn't focus on material things. The one who savors life as it comes to
him. They say he is abnormal. They mock and scoff at him as he does what he
enjoys. out of jealousy? No. Because he is himself. The one who has the
courage to be "abnormal". The one who stands out in a crowd; who's not
afraid to say what's on his mind. The one who doesn't meet the normal man's
criteria.

Who's to say he isn't normal? When did being yourself become abnormal? The
different personalities that are never seen. A waste. All of the God given
gifts that are wasted because of wanting to fit in. Everyone doing the same
thing; everyone wearing the same thing; everyone saying the same things..the
"in crowd".

We are quick to see things backwards. The depth of this conception is
baffling to some, when I can see it very clear. What is normal is abnormal.
What is abnormal is really normal.
