Beautiful Girl


I am a girl who loves the Lord and loves to live life,
I wonder why the kamikaze pilots wore helmets,
I hear the gentle whispers of the angels in the heavens,
I see the cow jump over the moon, 
I want to see the face of Jesus when I die,

I pretend that I am a kid again,
I feel the wings of the fairies around me,
I touch the lives of those around me, at least I try,
I worry that the death penalty will never be abolished,
I cry out when I feel I can't go on,

I understand not that much really,
I say I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.
I dream of being a mother one day,
I try to get math even though I really don't,
I hope that I can travel all the world one day,
