Wings

A thousand smiles, a thousand fears
Tampled hearts and souls aseared
Wondering why you've brought me here
With love misplaced a beautiful lie
Few things asked will be denied
With unrighteous anger you do defy
Rip the wings off a butterfly

Death lies beneath the veneer of grace
Your callous cold- blue eyes lay waste
To all the unfortunates that hate this place
What cruel thoughts will you imply
The harlots heart is hardly shy
Not wanting anyone else to try
Rip the wings off a butterfly

Cast aside all pretentions of fate
With open eyes what will await
Destroying what wishes to create
Upon the drop of sun-set sky
The glowing flames and screaming sigh's
Waving forevermore goodbye
Rip the wings off a butterfly
