He was there as you said goodbye to your friends
As they thanked you for attending their bible study
You refused the ride they offered,
As you started the 3 block walk to your house

He was there when you felt uneasy

Pulling your jacket closer to you

He was there as he put you into position,
Flipping you on your front
As he unbuckled his belt, and pulled his pants down
As he ripped down your dress, and skirt and grabbed you

He was there as he spread open your legs
As he lay on top of your broken figure
Emptying himself in you within a matter of seconds,
Before he ran away

He was there as you sobbed helplessly
As you lay bleeding in the snow, eyes wide open
Blood bubbling to the surface
As you watch the knife sticking out of your chest

He was there as you, for an instant
Thought of the husband you would never love
Of the children you would never bear
Of the life you would no longer live

He was there as your face drained of life
As your breath came in ragged gasps
As your eyes close ever so softly
Wondering, why wasn�t He there?

He was there watching these events
As he held millions upon millions of pleading angels back
He thinks about seeing you in a matter of seconds
And wonders how He can explain this to you.
How can anyone understand?
