Crying Silently 

Throughout my mortal lifetime
i have seen every sign 
All that has entered my mind
Has taught me 
To cry silently 

The nasty fighting 
Painful tongue biting
Brutal kicking 
Clock ticking 

Every smack I felt 
Every crack of the belt 
The scary nights 
The invisible lights
My useless rights 

Aching pain
Flinching shame 
Losing the game 

Body tense 
Futile resistance
Clenching fists
Nothing makes sense

Everything was wrong
I tried to be strong 
I grew up fearfully 
But I could only Cry silently ....
