The Story of Us A big city girl who wanted to get away a small town boy who had a heart warming smile. Not noticing each other at first, she didn't want to be there, he'd grown up there. They came with a common goal, influencing a young mind and leaving an impression. However, God had a goal neither knew about. On a warm night in July she let a ton of stuff go. Crying face down on the floor, he thought about doing something, but backed away. His dedication to one small child made her want to tell him he had a gift. Which launched into something neither had anticipated. And scared them both, cuz they were still just a boy and some girl. And so a breath taking portrait begins to form. Certain instances caught in time that caused their courses to change. Change for the good or bad, neither knew. But it was a fear they had to face, questions asked, begging for a right answer to their trepidation. It's strange how things happened. Neither of them were looking for love. Along a lonely stretch of highway she took him by his hand. Later in the chapel as candles flickered she cried once more, this time he held her close. A week from that moment she took his hand once more, he got more than a touch that night on the long stretch of road. He received a title of the one to hold her heart. A small dark room he made a simple request. He verbalized what she had been pondering, and she wasn't going to stop him. An intense and new emotion expressed in one simple gesture that bonded them. A sly smile, "T, he's looking at you." Politely smiling and diverting attention sure she could show an outward reaction to being admired from a far. But I think he already knows. He promises her that she can keep him. He holds her close as she drifts off with moments replaying in her head. She can feel his heart beat, his soft kiss and heard, "I love you Tatiana, always." She'll love him forever. As time has passed God composes a beautiful suite of what they've done, what they'll do and what's in store for them. They're weaving a precious picture of perfection. The three fold cord twists more and more. The center cords strong hold strengthens the bond. They rely upon this central force for guidance in their dance through this world. "Are you willing to risk it with me?" "Yes" "Have we taken a step back?" "No I'm sorry I hurt you." "Can I keep you?" "Forever." This average boy and just some girl have found each other and made a fairy tale. They are merely characters, in this real life love story. God is the author of this work in process. It's the story of us. ~T
