Chapter One: ISS Mission Plan

It was 4:51 PM on the date of October 24, 2011. Rob was in the main lobby at the International Space Station.

“I've got it! I have figured it out.” Rob says out loud to Brittany. “What is it Rob? What have you done?” She answered. “Ok. You know that we have been on this space station for six years. We don't have enough food to last us another year. I found out a way to get this station out of orbit and goto another galaxy.” I told Brittany.

“Are you sure you know what your doing?”

“Yeah. I've been studying this for years. It's easy.” I responded.

Brittany went to her bedroom to feed Britney. Rob went to the operating room to try to get the station to drive like a car.

The next day, Rob was still working on the ISS.

“Ring. Ring-a-ling. Ring.” Rob ran to the main deck office and picked up his phone. “Hello? Is there anyone there? Help!” Rob screamed into the phone. All he heard was dead silence. Nobody or anything was on the phone. So Rob hung up the phone with a sad look on his face.

That evening Rob went upstairs to the lookout, Observation Room, and looked out the windows and saw all the constellations. He gazed out the window more and more. He thought he saw another galaxy, but it was just a planet. He stayed up there for thirty minutes.

He went downstairs and went asleep in the living room.

He awoke with excitement because he heard a big boom sound. Then all the lights went out. Rob went and got his flashlight and headed for Brittany's room. “Are you ok? Is everything alright?” Rob asked Brittany. “I'm alright. I just hope the lights go back on.” Brittany tells Rob.

It was 12:21PM when the lights went out. Brittany told Rob she heard a big boom sound at 12:20PM.

Brittany gave Rob her flashlight and he went to the operating room to see if he could get the lights to work. When he got to the operating room, he noticed that one of the fuses in the fuse box was blown. He got another one and replaced it. A couple seconds later, the lights were back on again. Rob went back upstairs. “Oh. Thanks Rob.” Brittany told him. “Your welcome. Anything for you.”

Rob went back to work, fixing the ISS up. He went to the operating room with his tools. He worked on the ISS for two hours, until he stopped. He was really tired, so he ate a little snack and fell asleep.

At 9:15 PM, Brittany woke Rob up. “Rob. Your phone rang again. I answered it, but nothing was there.” Brittany told Rob while waking him up. “Brittany, I know who is calling. I have figured it out. It's someone from another galaxy. You don't hear anything because the galaxy is so far away. I think I can build a device to transmit messages to the other galaxy.” Rob told Brittany.

After that conversation, Brittany went to her bedroom and fed Britney. Rob went to the operating room and made a plan to create a device to receive and transmit sounds from different galaxies. He worked on it over and over. After four hours nonstop, Rob finally figured out how to create a Galaxy Talker.

The next day, Rob told Brittany that he also made an ISS Mission Plan. He told her everything about it. She got really excited. He went to the operating room and started to work on it.

At 5:45PM, Rob, Brittany and Britney went to the lobby and ate dinner. Rob told them about the ISS Mission Plan and the Galaxy Talker. The dinner went on for one hour, then Rob went to the operating room to work some more and Brittany took Britney to her room and tucked her into bed and she fell asleep.

Rob stayed in the operating room all night working on the plans.

The next morning Rob woke up and went to Brittany. “I've got it Britt!”

Chapter Two: Galaxy Talker

“What is it Rob? Is it something really awesome?” Brittany exclaimed to Rob. “Oh. I have found out how to create the Galaxy Talker and I have half of it finished. All I got to do is take a cordless phone and take parts out of it. There is one in the main office, so I will be done tomorrow.” Rob told Brittany.

“Cool! I can't wait.”

Rob went to the main office to get the cordless phone and then to the operating room. He worked all day until 3:00PM. He came up and had a quick dinner. He told Brittany that he will be finished building the Galaxy Talker by the next morning.

Three hours later, he went to sleep in the living room on the coach.

“Rob. Rob. Rob!” Brittany was yelling out. “Yes.” Rob answered in a low voice.

“Oh. Why are you sleeping in here?” Britt asked. “Because I was up all last night and I didn't want to wake you or Britney up, so I slept here.”

“Ok. I understand.” Britt said while walking back to her room.

Rob went to the operating room and worked. Five minutes later, he was finished with the Galaxy Talker. He went upstairs and hooked the Galaxy Talker into their phone and computer. Rob went to Britt's room and told her he was done.

“Awesome! Can we call someone for help? Can we?” Brittany asked Rob. “I'm not sure right now. I will try it out. Do you want to watch?” Rob answered Brittany really fast. “Sure.” Britt answered back.

Rob and Brittany went to the lobby room. Rob took his phone and pressed “star 69”. Rob put the speaker phone on. All they heard was a dial tone and then they heard a clicking noise. “Click. Click. Click.” Then it stopped thirty seconds after the clicking noises.

Then they heard nothing. Rob hung up the phone and went to the operating room and he was going to work on his ISS Mission Plan, but he heard something ringing. He couldn't figure it out where it was coming from. He looked and looked. He went up to the lobby and he heard his cell phone ringing. He went over to it and turned on the Galaxy Talker. Then he picked up his phone. He heard a buzzing noise. Then, very lightly, he heard a song. He knew he heard it before. He turned up the speaker phone as loud as it goes, put his ear against the speaker and he heard something.

“...bring me a dream. Make him the cutest that I've ever seen...like roses and clovers... until all out nights are over.”

“Mr. Sandman!” Rob screamed. “Britt! Hurry! Get up here!” Rob went to his computer and pressed a couple of buttons and clicked the mouse a couple times. Brittany came running up the stairs. “I knew it!” Rob said to himself loudly.

By the time Brittany got to the lobby, the song was over. However, Rob did locate the location where the song was coming from. When he found out, he was confused. “Britt. There was a song playing on my cell phone. It was, Mr. Sandman. It came from a galaxy called, “The Milky Way.”

“That's our galaxy.” Brittany exclaimed. “I know, but it says that it's coming from 160,000 light-years away. That can't be our galaxy. That must be a parallel galaxy that's just like ours.” Rob told Brittany with excitement.

Chapter Three: Journey to the Black Hole

Rob saved everything on his computer. Brittany was really surprised.

The next day was November 25, 2011. It was a month until Christmas. All day and night, Rob went to the observation room. He was building a machine to make the ISS go one hundred light-years an hour (lyph). He figured it out, that it will only take less then a month to build the machine. He's going to call it, “Herdman 100”.

The next morning Rob was really tired. It was probably because he was up all night. At 4:30PM, Rob woke up. “Britt. Did I get a call?” Rob asked Brittany. “Nobody called you while I was up.” Brittany answered.

Rob went to the living room and tried to get channels on his tv. For some reason, he couldn't get any. He got a couple, but it was all snowy and crackly. After one hour, he stopped trying.

Days and days past. Weeks and weeks past. He got closer and closer to getting the ISS Mission Plan finished.

It was December 15, 2011, when Rob finally completed the ISS Mission Plan. “Britt! Britt! I finished the ISS Mission Plan! Were out of here!” Rob exclaimed to Brittany. “Awesome! I can't wait!” Brittany told Rob.

There was a silence in the observation room. Then Brittany went upstairs to feed Britney. It was twenty-five after nine PM, when Britney fell asleep.

The next morning, Rob found unused huge rechargeable batteries. He figured out that, that was all the power he needed. Before he installed the “Herdman 100”, he made a map on how to get to the Milky Way Galaxy on his computer using his program “Galaxy Talker Locater.” It took him all night to create a map. He printed it out and went asleep on the coach in the living room.

The next day, five and a half hours after Rob woke up, he went to the observation room and installed the Herdman 100 to the ISS. It was 8:00PM and he didn't get finished installing the Herdman 100, so he went to sleep anyway and decided to finish it the next morning.

Rob woke up the next day with the sneezes. Since Brittany knew a little about being a nurse, Brittany told Rob that it was nothing serious and he will be fine in a couple days.

At four o'clock PM, Rob finished installing the Herdman 100 and programed some software into the computer, so he could use the computer as a remote control to the Herdman 100 and also to steer the ISS. He still had to install the huge batteries he found in a storage room to the Herdman 100 and the ISS.

On December 20, 2011, in the morning, he was totally finished with the ISS Mission Plan. Rob was thinking to himself. “It took me two months to build a machine that can make something go 100 lyph. That means I am really smart. I could go so far.” Then he was thinking, “How will I be able to get off orbit?” Rob asked Brittany and she had no clue. By 10:30PM, Rob had figured out how to get off the orbit. He built jet engines on the side of the ISS and it used hydrogen fuel cells. Rob worked on the engine for one week. It was Christmas Eve when he was completely finished with the jet engine. He told Brittany that they were going to leave at 12:05AM that night. “Awesome! That's only three hours away! I can't wait!” Brittany told Rob.

At 10:45PM, Rob started up the Herdman 100 and the jet engines because they take a little more then a hour to warm up before they work properly. In the meantime, Rob and Brittany played games, while Britney was sleeping. They played twenty games of Rummy and five games of Checkers, until they were off.

It was 12:00AM when Rob heard his buzzer go off. He hurried to his computer and typed some codes and symbols. Buzzing and beeping noises were going off for ten seconds. Then the ISS was rumbling. Brittany took Britney and stood and watched Rob steer the ISS using the computer. Two minutes later, there was a big explosion in the operating room. Then there were big flashes.

“Wow! Did you see that? That was awesome!” Brittany exclaimed to Rob. Ten minutes after twelve, they got out of the orbit they were in. All they could see was black. They went one lyph and gradually sped up ten lyph every minute. They got faster and faster every second. Rob and Brittany were getting excited every minute. They loved the ride. When they looked out the window, they saw black light swirling, like a spin wheel moving faster and faster.

Rob predicted that it would take the ISS two hours to get to the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. Rob put the ISS on “Auto Mode”, so Rob could talk and play games with Brittany.

Rob decided to play chess with Brittany.

“Rob. I don't know how to play chess.” Brittany cried out. “I will show you how to play. It's easy at first, but it gets hard when you play against someone.” Rob told Brittany.

They played chess for an hour and a half. Brittany got better and better after she played ten games. “Beep. Beep. Beep.” The computer told us. Rob went up to the computer and it said we only have thirty minutes until we reach the middle of the Milky Way Galaxy.

For some reason, the ISS started to slow down. After ten minutes of slowing down, it completely stopped. Rob and Brittany were confused.

Rob went to the computer and it said that there was a malfunction in the operating room. Rob ran downstairs to find out what's wrong. Brittany stayed upstairs and looked out the window. She saw the most amazing pictures she ever saw. She hurried and grabbed her camera and took twenty different views of the sky.

When Rob got downstairs, he found out what was wrong immediately. The big batteries weren't hooked up to the ISS. Rob took extra wires, that were in the closet, and hooked them up to the batteries and also hooked them up to the main breaker system. He went over to the switch and turned it on. “Good.”

When Rob got upstairs, Brittany was still taking pictures. “Ok. Were going to leave now.” Rob told Brittany. Rob went to the computer and clicked the “Retry” button. Nothing happened until one minute after Rob clicked the button. Rob and Brittany heard a whizzing sound. Then the ISS started to shake.

“BOOM! Swiiiisss!”

Then they were off.

At first, the ISS was going ten lyph. It increased twenty lyph every minute. Five minutes later, the ISS was going one hundred lyph. “Weee! Here we go!” Brittany exclaimed. One hour later, the ISS began to slow down again. Rob was confused why it was slowing down. Brittany was asleep when this was happening. Rob went over to the computer and looked at it. He noticed that they were really, really, close to the middle of the Milky Way Galaxy. Two minutes after he looked at the computer, he noticed a big hole when he glanced out the window. “Brittany. Brittany! Wake up! Were almost there!” Rob exclaimed to Brittany. “What? Did you say were almost there?” Brittany questioned Rob while she woke up.

“Yes. Were like twenty minutes away from the black hole.” Rob answered. “That's awesome!” Brittany shouted out at Rob. Then the sky was turning unusually blacker.

Chapter Four: The Black Hole

Brittany and Rob were getting really nervous and scared of what's going to happen. They both started to play chess to get their mind off of the ride. They played four games of chess before the computer started ringing.

Rob went over to the computer and it said that we were five minutes away from the black hole.

The ISS starts to rumble oddly. Rob and Brittany got tensed and nervous. “What's happening Rob? Are we going to die?” Brittany asked while being scared. “No. Were not going to die. It's just part of the ride. Everything is going to be alright.”

Everything went black for three seconds. Then BOOM! They heard a loud explosion. After that, they saw all kinds of planets and stars. “Rob! Look out the window! Were here. It's really cool. Hurry! Grab my camera for me, please.” Brittany told Rob while he was looking on the computer.

They saw a medium-sized blue and white planet that looked almost exactly like Earth. Rob went to the computer and typed in the codes so the ISS would goto the Earth-like planet. It said that it would take five minutes to get there. He told Brittany about it.

Rob and Brittany were getting really excited about the new planet. They couldn't do anything to make them stop thinking about it.

They were getting closer and closer to the planet every five minutes. Rob programmed the computer to land on the planet. It took about ten minutes.

They got to the planet's atmosphere thirty-five minutes after they came through the black hole.

The ISS was starting to rumble with great force. The windows were turning a firing color. They were going faster and faster. They heard a big bang. Everything was blue.

Chapter Five: The New Planet's

Everything stopped. Rob and Brittany could hear a lot of noises. It was blue outside just like Earth. They had landed in a big field. They didn't know where they were.

They went outside of the ISS and saw these amazing houses. “Rob! Rob! All these houses are made out of glass! Look! Look! This is amazing.” Brittany yelled out after they got out of the ISS.

It was a magnificent sight. They started to walk toward a large dirt road. After they got to the road, they walked straight. Up ahead in the distance, they saw a big sign. It said, Utah Border Line, two miles ahead. There was another sign that said, Eastland, one mile ahead.

They decided to goto the town and find out where they were and maybe get a newspaper to read.

They walked and walked. There were a lot of vehicles, but they didn't care about us. When we got to the town, we saw this big building. We went in and asked them if we could get a job.

“Oh! You want a job. Well, I guess you could go find me some customers.” the old man at the counter said.

They walked outside and saw a lot of people on the other side of the road. They ran across the road and told them all about the wonderful store across the street. About after one minute of talking, the group of people finally walked over to the store.

The guy at the counter was happy. He gave us both ten dollars. We were really happy.

We walked over to the newspaper stands and looked at the newspaper. “It's the year 2101!” Brittany told Rob. “I can't believe it!” “Well, it is 2101. We went so fast to get here, we went to the future.” Rob explained to Brittany. Brittany had a weird look on her face when they left the store. Rob hurried back in the store. “Could I get a lottery ticket for two dollars please.” Rob told the guy at the counter. The guy gave him a ticket and Rob left the store. Rob told Brittany that he bought a lottery ticket.

“Rob. Could we goto Detroit, Michigan and see our relatives?” Well it would be hard because we need money to get there. I think we could.” Rob told Brittany.

They both walked and walked for a couple hours. They found this old abandon truck in the weeds off the road. The sun was setting, so they decided to stay and camp out in the truck.

The next morning, they woke up and headed off. They walked for about three hours on this old abandoned dirt road. They found civilization at noon. The town was called Dove Creek. They went to this old building. They went in and asked them where they were.

“Hello. Your in Dove Creek, Colorado. What do you need?” the man at the counter said. “Yeah, thanks. Where are your newspapers?” Rob asked the man. “They are past the candy bars and to your left.” the man told Rob. “Thanks.” Rob said while walking toward the newspapers.

Rob pulled out some newspapers from the rack. He flipped through the newspapers to the lottery numbers section. “Yes! I won the lottery!” Rob screamed out loud. Then he ran toward the man at the counter.

Chapter Six: Detroit, MI

“Excuse me, sir. Could I get my lottery ticket redeemed?” Rob said to the guy at the counter. “Sure. Hold on a second.” the guy answered while taking the ticket and going back to the register.

After waiting for two minutes, the guy came back to the front desk. He handed Rob a lot of money. “Here you go. There's your money you won.”

Rob went back to Brittany. “Brittany! I just won ten thousand dollars! Now we can goto Michigan! Isn't that awesome!” Rob screamed to Brittany. They ran out the door to the nearest pay phone. They walked across this big street, and went into the phone booth. Rob dialed “zero”.

“Operator. May I help you?”

“Yes. Where is the nearest airport from Dove Creek, Colorado?” Rob questioned the operator. “There is one in Colorado Springs. It's one hundred and fifteen miles from Dove Creek.” the operator told Rob. “When is the next take off to Detroit, Michigan?” Rob asked the operator. “They will take off tomorrow at eight o'clock PM.” the operator told Rob. “Thanks.” Rob said while hanging up the phone. Rob told Brittany everything.

Rob got out of the phone after Brittany, and walked across the street. He went in a car rental store. He walked in and went to the main desk.

“Hi. How's your day? How may I help you today?” an old guy asked Rob. “Yeah. I'm looking for a car to rent. I want to goto Colorado Springs. Is there any stores like this in Colorado Springs so I could give the car back because I won't be come back to Dove Creek?” Rob asked the old man.

“Uh. Let me see.” the guy told me while walking over to the computer. Rob and Brittany walked to the seats by the windows and sat down.

Five minutes later, the old guy came back. “Excuse me. There is a car rental in Fountain. That's five miles from Colorado Springs. Your in luck!” the guy told us. Rob and Brittany said thanks and they both followed the old guy to the back room where the cars are located.

Brittany found a 2100 Ford 2AK Hover mobile 2100 Series A. It was red and didn't have a top. It has a dvd-xp player and a twenty six inch tv screen. Rob liked it too. So, they rented it.

After they signed the forms, they drove off. The guy at the car rental store tried to teach Rob and Brittany how to drive the hover mobile, because they never driven one before. After awhile they got the hang of it.

They made a plan where to go and stay at a hotel and how to get to Colorado Springs.

First, they were going to goto Cortez, San Juan, Montrose, Gunnison, Salida, Canon City, Williamsburg, and then to Colorado Springs.

They went to a town called Cortez two and a half hours after they left the store. They looked around and saw some weird buildings and some old buildings. The court house was really big and interesting. We stopped and took a couple of pictures. After forty-five minutes of looking around, they headed off.

They went east to Durango. It was really dark, so they decided to keep going until they got to a hotel. Durango wasn't exciting, so they left immediately. We stopped at Pagosa Springs, and found this cool looking motel. The rooms were cheap too. We parked the car in front of the motel and went to the main desk.

“Hi. May I help you with something?” the guy at the desk asked Rob. “Hey. Could I get a room for two.” Rob told the guy at the desk. “Sure. Let me get your keys.” the guy told Rob while walking back toward the big wall of keys. “Here you go. Your room number is 20B.” the guy at the desk told Rob while handing the keys to Rob. He grabbed the key and headed upstairs.

Rob, Brittany, and Britney went upstairs and to a long narrow hallway. They looked at the first door they saw. It said, 10A on the door. So, they kept walking and walking. They probably walked a couple miles before they reached their room.

Rob opened the door. He saw two big rooms. One was the living room, that has a dvd-xp player and a sixty-four inch flat screen television, and the other room was the bedroom. Rob went to the bedroom after Brittany and he saw a huge king-sized bed. There was two pillows and two small dressers. There was also a door. Rob opened the door, and saw a big bathroom.

Rob and Brittany decided to sleep overnight and continue the journey at eight o'clock AM.

Rob didn't goto sleep until 11:00PM. He stayed up all night watching movies on the dvd-xp player. He watched five movies. After that, he went into the bedroom and went to sleep.

The next morning, Brittany, Britney, and Rob, all woke up at the same time. Rob got dressed and went downstairs to the main desk.

“Good morning. How was your night?” the guy at the desk asked Rob. “Hi. It was good. How much do I owe you?” Rob asked. “Well, let me check.” The guy went to his computer and typed a few buttons. “It's twenty dollars for everything.” the guy at the desk told Rob. He handed the guy twenty dollars and the key to the room while heading back upstairs.

“Brittany! Get your things ready. It's time to leave.” Rob screamed after opening the front door. After they got all their things together, they left the motel.

Rob drove north on route 160. When they arrived at a town, it was 8:52AM. The town was Baxterville. It was an ok place. They weren't hungry, so they kept going.

They passed Del Norte, then went North on route 285 and went through Saguache. They stopped at the town Salida. Rob was hungry, so they stopped at Mc Donalds.

They went in. “Could I have a number two with coke, please. A couple minutes later he got his food and sat down at the table. Brittany and Britney got a little food to eat. They just drank water. The food looked really good and it was steaming. At 11:15AM, they drove off. This time, Brittany drove the hover mobile.

They went through seven towns in one hour and a half. When they arrived in Penrose, it was 12:30PM. Since they were only thirty minutes away from Colorado Springs, they decided to goto the Fort Carson Military Reservation for four hours.

Rob and Brittany looked around and bought some souvenirs.

At 5:00PM, they headed off to goto Colorado Springs. When they were half way there, they saw fireworks when they looked out the car window. They were cool looking and really loud.

They got in Colorado Springs at 6:17PM. Rob remembered that the plane left at 10:00PM. They still had four hours.

“Hey Rob. We forgot to give this hover mobile to the car rental store in Fountain. Fountain is five miles South from here.” Brittany told Rob when they stopped at a red light. Brittany turned around and headed to Fountain.

At 6:50PM, Brittany got to Fountain. She headed toward the car rental store. It took her awhile to find the store, but she did find it in five minutes. Rob got out of the hover mobile and went in the store.

“Excuse me. I have a hover mobile from the same store as this in Dove Creek. I am returning it to you. Here are the forms.” Rob told the guy at the front desk while handing the forms for the hover mobile to the guy. “Ok. Let me check this out.” the guy said while grabbing the forms from Rob.

The guy went to his computer and typed for about a minute. He came back over to Rob. “Ok. Thanks. Just park the hover mobile in the garage. Give me the keys before you leave.” the guy told Rob. Rob went outside and told Brittany to park the hover mobile in the garage. After she put it in the garage, Rob got the keys and gave them to the guy in the store.

Brittany and Rob walked over to the phone booth that's right across the street. Rob opens the door and gets the phone book. He looks up taxis. He finds one in this area and called it. He asks if they could come and pick two people up in Fountain, in a phone booth across the street of the car rental store.

Five minutes after he called, the taxi arrived. We all got in and went to Colorado Springs. “That will be five dollars, please.” the taxi cab driver told Rob. Rob handed the taxi cab driver five dollars and leaves the car.

They get to the airport at seven twenty-five PM. The airport's name is Peterson Field. Rob and Brittany head to the main desk after they walked through the doors of the airport.

“Could I get a ticket for three to goto Detroit, Michigan? How much will it cost also?” Rob asked the young lady standing behind the front desk. “Yeah. It will cost fifty dollars per person.” the young lady told Rob. “Ok. I will get three tickets and here's the money.” Rob told the lady while handing her one hundred and fifty dollars.

The lady gave Rob the tickets and showed us where to go. They had to wait in the lobby until it was time to leave. They only waited for twenty minutes. They heard their airplane over the loud speaker. They went to the entrance to the airplane and found their seats. They waited on the plane for ten minutes before they took off. It took the plane two hours to get to Michigan. When they got to Michigan, they saw big skyscrapers. They couldn't believe what they saw. They went to the nearest phone booth. They saw one inside the airport. They were at the Willow Run Airport and it was really big. When they got to the pay phone, Rob got the phone book and looked up the last name of, “Herdman.”

Chapter Seven: The Herdman's

There was a lot of people with the last name of Herdman. Rob chose one at randomly, that lived in Detroit, and called it. He heard it ring several times before someone picked up.

“Hello? This is the Herdman's Residence. What can I do for you?” A strange voice called out. “Yeah. Do you know anybody with the name of, Robert Herdman or Brittany Herdman?” Rob asked the man on the other end of the line.

“I'm not sure right off the top of my head. I think it does sound slightly familiar. I did hear that name before.” the man told Rob. “Could I come by your house and talk? I really want to know if we know each other. What's your house number if I can come over.” Rob told the man on the other side of the phone. “Ummm. I guess so. I'm not really busy at the moment right now. I live at 2300 Wattson Drive. It's a big bluish gray house with a black garage with a convertible. I'll see you soon. Bye.” the man said to Rob while hanging up the phone. Rob hung up the phone too.

“Hey Brittany. We are going to a house on Wattson Drive. His last name is Herdman and he might know something about us or he might be related to us.” Rob explained to Brittany while Brittany's holding Britney.

Rob and Brittany walked across the street to a store named, “Kwik-E-Mart.” They went inside the store and asked a short, long haired, guy where Wattson Drive is located at in Detroit. “If you go outside, make a right and stop at the first stoplight you see. Go left and when you get to Ronald's Barber Shop, make a right and your on Wattson Drive. The first house there is number 3450.” the guy at the front desk of the store told Rob.

Rob and Brittany walked outside and saw all the big skyscrapers going up and up touching the clouds. They went right on the sidewalk. It was full of people of all sorts different kinds. You could hardly move around. We saw the big stoplight up ahead in the distance. It turned red when we got there. When we took a left, we saw this huge building, that was weird looking, reaching the clouds with lots of windows. We kept walking, trying to ignore the big building, looking for the barber shop. Five minutes later, we finally saw the barber shop. It was a small white house on the corner of two streets. We turned right and saw the old green sign say “Wattson Drive”. We walked up the street and saw all these wonderful houses.

“These people must be rich to have these beautiful house's look so beautiful. They also look brand new.” Brittany told Rob excitedly.

They walked for eight minutes when they arrived at 2300 Wattson Drive. “It looks exactly the way the guy on the phone explained to me.” Rob said out loud, not really saying it to anybody.

They go up to the house and Brittany knocks on the door a couple of times. They see someone in the window coming closer to the door.

“Hi. How are you today. What do you want.” the guy at the front door told Brittany. “Yeah. My name is Brittany Herdman and this is my husband Robert Herdman. We came here today because my husband called you to see if you know us or if were related to you. What's your name?” “Well. How are you today. Nice to meet you. My name is Micheal Herdman. My family has been living here for decades after decades. About one hundred and fifty years. Come on in, please.” Mike told Brittany and Rob. “By the way, cute baby you got there.” Mike said while Rob and Brittany entered his house.

Chapter Eight: The New Past

When Rob entered the house, he felt as if he had been in the house thousands of times. He couldn't explain why he felt that way. “It is weird.” He kept saying to himself.

Mike went straight downstairs to his big living room. Rob and Brittany followed him all the way downstairs. Mike opened a really big box. “Rob, Brittany, you are related to me. I don't know how or why you two are still thirty years old. You used to live in this house. Look at these pictures. Tell me if they look familiar.” Mike told Rob and Brittany while handing them the pictures Mike has. “Wow! Are these real? I remember exactly when these pictures were taken.” Brittany exclaimed. “Brittany, we lived in this exact house ninety years ago. This is it. Mike is related to us. Look at these pictures.” Rob told Brittany and Mike really got excited.

Brittany starts to look at the pictures. Her jaw drops. She really couldn't believe it.

“Rob. Brittany. I don't know how you got here, but you can stay here the rest of your life.” Mike told them.
