“Red Chevrolet”

(based on true story)

It's a red old Chevrolet,

I think I might and bet.

It will only go for a mile,

Then you'll have to walk for awhile.

Because then it wont start,

The cars falling apart.

The seats have a huge torn,

Can't even hear the car horn.

The battery is going dead,

I think I see up ahead,

The light is turning red,

Grandmas falling to bed.

The muffler is falling off,

You can hear it cough.

Spit out all the black smoke,

Close the windows, so you don't choke.

Then the windows get stuck,

And the smoke gets in, yuck.
