“Drowning”

While I watch as people pass by,

I'm always gonna wonder why.

Why did it have to end up like this,

All the great moments that I'll miss.

Please don't tell me it's over again,

I have lost, but you'll never win.

As I look to my past,

It just didn't last,

Time went by so damn fast.

Now my heart is broken,

All the words,

Have been spoken.

I've been hurt in each and every way,

Tried so hard,

There's just nothing to say.

The tears rolling down my face,

I've met this world up in disgrace.

I don't know if I can live in this place,

I'm trying to catch up, but it's not a race.

The one I love isn't here,

I'm all alone,

Drowning in fear.

Each morning I wake up,

Hoping she will be there.

I don't find anyone,

She just doesn't care.
