These First Three poems Were Written For a very Special and loved person in my life.

Take care of her heart, for it is in a time
that it needs patience, understanding and love.
Its trying to find a path, and if you give it these
things the path will surely lead to your heart.

LOST ....(the past)
You are here, but I cannot feel you.
You speak to me, but my heart cannot hear.
You look at me, but you look right through me
I try to pull you close, but you push me away
are you pushing, or are you running away?
I've known you all this time
but you are a stranger to me.
We are together, but yet apart
and somwhere in the distance between us
is my boken heart.
Its full of pain and crying to be saved.
You say you still love me
but love is a funny thing.
Are you in love with me?
Cause the love I see is not the same
as what it used to be.
I've tried to hide my pain inside
not for myself, but for you
I do not want your heart to cry
as mine has done so many times.
I tried to save you from these
emotions building up inside
but the crying in my heart
has spilled into my eyes.
I cannot hide these tears you see
falling on my cheeks
I am no longer strong and bold
my heart has made me weak.
I do not wish to make you sad
or make you stay
or make you mad.
All I need is to be set free
close this distance
between you and me.
So I can find my heart
Not for you, but just for me.

We Have Never Touched...( for the future)
We have never touched, but I know how you feel
you are not here, but you are real
your kisses are the sunbeams
that break my morning sky
your tears are the dew drops
upon the midnight rose
your touch is the wind
I feel you when it blows
it caress my body
and gently wraps around me
your eyes are the stars
that I look upon each night
your love is the moon
always shining bright
your emotions
like the rainbow are never ending
your smiles are the clouds
always rolling by
always beautiful and catching my eye
we have never touched, but I know how you feel
like the sunbeams, the dew drops
the stars and the wind
you are my world
my special friend.

TEARS
One by one they fall from my eyes,
these tears of mine,
Theres nothing here to dry them up,
except the test of time,
They each have a story and a name,
to others they are just water,
But as I see them fall.
I have learned to play this game.
The first one falls. her name is Lonely,
Here without you,
She fades away into the fabric of my clothes.
What am I to do ?
Here comes number two named Kisses,
I want to touch your lips.
She slids to the corner of my eye.
I trace her path softly with my finger tips.
Third one is here his name is Lie,
I promise I will never tell,
He comes and goes quikly, I never know where,
When Im angry I'll never yell.
Number four always comes her name is Care,
I want to feel you here,
She lands on my chin and tries to stay.
I need to know your near,
Five is hopeless as he staggers out named Love,
Come to me please,
I wipe him away trying to hold on,
I'll beg upon my kness
There goes number six named Hope,
I will never let go,
She falls into my hand and I hold her tightly,
From here our love will grow.
Seven is a ghostly image, I call him Empty,
Here without you.
I let him fall wherever he wants.
What am I to do ?
Then theres eight her name is Dream,
We can make it last forever.
She doesnt fall but stays in my eye and fades,
As long as we are together.
Nine is timely, waiting in line his name is Truth,
Our love will never fail,
He falls upon my chest just over my heart.
Hear me scream your name?
Number ten is always last her name is Forever,
Hold me in your arms today,
She come's for one reason only, to push out number one.
Named Lonely, to play this game again.

I'll give you comfort if you let me near.
I'll tell you a story if you promise to hear
of the joy and the beauty, being in love brings.
Like roses and rainbows and butterfly wings.

I'll give you my life, if you promise to stay.
To be by my side day after day.
As we dance to the tune of my heart as it sings
of roses and rainbows and butterfly wings.

As you labor unceasing in the heat of the sun.
I will be here for you when the hard days are done.
So soft and so sweet, one of lifes beautiful things.
Like roses and rainbows and buttrfly wings.

And when GOD calls me home, when my time is through.
I will rise in the air thinking of you.
And bend my knee thankfully to our heavenly King.
For YOU, roses, rainbows and butterfly wings.

Broken
You broke mt heart, and shatterd my dreams,
or did you shatter my heart and break my dreams ?
I am so confussed and i feel so used.
And all this is because of you.
I have opened my eyes.
And I see your deciet and lies.
I am walking out that door.
I will love no more.
I will survive, and I will not cry.
You may have beaten my emotions.
But you have not beaten me.
And when I am gone.
You will realize.
I have won.

My Way
There is no greater pain, then that of a broken heart
who has heard the words good-bye.
There is no less pain then that of a heart who has.
I walk silently through this darkness.
trying to find my way out.
Following a distant light.
Never able to touch it.
It never leaves me, but always guides me,
caresses my mind with the promise of an end.
that will never come.
Whisper my name softly,
And I will find my way.

Thoughts of Love
What greater thing is there,
for two human souls.
Then to feel that they
are joined for life.
To strengthen each other,
in all labor.
To rest on each other ,
in all sorrow.
To minister to each other
in all pain.
And to be with each other,
in silent, inseperable memories.

Dragon Dreams
Going out through the night,
Wings spread wide in midflight.

Never seen above the clouds,
Never hear the bellowing sounds.

Never seen in waters deep,
Never find the golden keep.

Never seen in caverns dark,
Never seen them disembark.

Never seen fires of the wed,
Never seen the suffering dead.

Never feel the dragons soul,
Never see what you know.
