Physical Description: Arisen is very beautiful. She is tall, about 5'9, with long legs and pale skin that is splashed with freckles on her shoulders. She has blue-green eyes with small flecks of gold with long, dark eyelashes, giving her aura of a down-to-earth person. Her full, thick auburn hair falls in gentle waves down her back, ending just above her butt. She usually wears it down with a crown made from braids on her brow. She has long, thin fingers, made for dexterous maneuvering but her hands bear numerous small scars from her work.

She is usually found in a long, dark green dresses with a simple sash about her waist, to accentuate her lithely built body. Her breasts border on the small side for her height but she doesn't mind, nor does she go out of her way to flaunt her sex appeal, which makes her all the more appealing. She is often found with a serene smile on her face.

Personality: Arisen is very sweet and caring. But the best way to describe her would be that she is a down to earth type of person. She knows how to speak her mind without upsetting others and hates pretending to be someone she's not. She is also very determined and usually knows exactly what she wants, so when she puts her mind to anything she can get whatever it is done extremely fast. She is also a friendly, compassionate, and loyal individual--she is never above helping the less fortunate, which makes her a Hold favorite. When in comes to family, Arisen keeps a strict policy of standing by her family through whatever situations may occur, despite the fact that her family lets her down many a time.

Ari, as she prefers to be called in intimate circles, is very doting but firm with her young son, Aradazien. She takes him nearly everywhere with her, preferring him to experience the world as he needs to instead of sheltering him from it. She has a great passion for learning, equalled by Daz's insatiable curiosity, and so has taken up, in her spare time, learning the flute and weavercraft.

Background: Arisen was the first daughter to be born to the Lord and Lady Holders of Dawn Meadows Hold, though she was the fifth child. Her mother took extra care in rising Arisen with dreams of having her marry a Lord Holder one day. Arisen excelled in school and rivaled her brothers in intelligence. She also was not above getting down and dirty, and as a child could often be found alongside her brothers in the fields learning what the Hold did. As she matured, though, she spent more time inside under her mother's private tutoring to learn how to be the proper Lady Holder.

Even with her talents, intelligence, and dream of being a Lady Holder, Arisen never had a chance at being the Heir to the Hold. When she was 16, Arisen was engaged to a minor holder's son, Radazi. Arisen was strongly opposed to an arranged marriage, especially to someone she had not previously known. The marriage occured only one month after her father arranged it, and during that month Arisen and Radazi did not meet each other due to many reasons, one of which was that Radazi had to move from his father's hold near Dawn Rain to Dawn Meadows and set up a cothold for his soon-to-be wife.

The marriage ceremony was a festive event for the Hold, with well over a hundred individuals in attendence. There was music, dancing, and good wine long into the night. The next day the newly weds moved into their new home, a nice sized cothold at Dawn Meadows. Fortunately for Arisen, she and her new husband Radazi were compatible but Arisen was still quite unhappy with the whole arrangement. Shortly after their wedding, Arisen was pregnant with their first child, Aradazien.

Radazi was only able to spend two turns with Arisen before tragedy struck. Whilst returning from another Hold on the mainland, the dragonrider that bore Radazi there unexpectedly suffered a heart attack in midair, claiming the young Lord's life inadvertently. Though Arisen was unhappy with their marriage, she never wished such horror to occur and was thoroughly distraught. Her parents tried to marry her off as soon as they felt appropriate but Arisen outrightly refused, this time fleeing to Dawn Meadows Weyrhold in protest. Getting the message, her parents dissolved the arrangements and told her to choose an Heir worthy of her hand.

Arisen instead, decided to involve herself in studying crafts, particularly weavercraft. Seeking to experience more of Pern than her former slice, Arisen volunteered to leave with the dragonriders and set up Dusk Forest Weyrhold.
