Physical Description: S'bryn is tall and lanky, his 6'1 frame still holding a touch of the gangling look, even though he�s into his 30�s. He looks unfinished to say the least, and some would almost be tempted to say he looks unhealthy. Luckily for him, the deep seacrafter's tan covering his body and sun-streaks in his hair rule that out. Not particularly handsome, he finds that he gets a lot of comments on his eyes and hair, which are a pale silvery gray, and a russet color with hints of gold.

Personality: Over the turns Bryn's discovered a natural flair for dramatics which shows up when he's joining close friends in antics that many people would never believe him the type to take part in. Impatient, and slightly cocky since he's got a bronze to back him up, there�s still a hint of immaturity in him. He's confident in his own ability to deal with whatever life throws his way which sometimes translates into arrogance.

He�s not really arrogant though, and in fact can be far more sensitive than all but his closest friends give him credit for. S�bryn holds those friends in highest regards and is usually the first one they come to if they need help or a favor.

Background: As the oldest son out of eight, Saibryn was expected to follow in his father's footsteps and become a seacrafter. Thankfully, the boy's fascination with the sea came on early, ensuring he wouldn't be holding any grudges against his family for nudging him in that direction.

He apprenticed at the age of twelve since he'd already been on ship with his father for several turns, and spent most of his time gleefully sailing the seas. Some people question how it happened that he was landside long enough for a dragon to Search him when he was eighteen.

Despite his love of sailing and the ocean, the challenge that being a dragonrider presented gave him a new focus. He looked forward to having the chance to stand, but wasn't really expecting to Impress on the first shot - especially not after talking to his fellow candidates, some of who'd already been through three or four hatchings.

To the surprise of many it was a little bronze named Zaharath who chose him on his second time out on the sands, and over the turns the doubters were proved wrong as the boy grew into a man. Bryn developed his skills both as a rider and once his bronze was old enough, as a seacrafter.

By the time S�bryn was 30, he was asked to accept rank within the wings on several occasions, which he consistently turned down with the reasoning that an older rider would be better suited rather than showing such favoritism towards a younger rider. When J�syn and Sierrata made a stop at Igen� to speak with their leaders about a new Weyrhold, S�bryn quietly requested a transfer out to accompany them in their project.

Dragon Description: Zaharath is a pale copper-gold bronze, like the color of a newly minted penny. An average size bronze as far as length and wingspan, he's built on a slightly lighter scale, giving him extra speed in the air than most bronzes.

He's not the most social of dragons, much preferring to survey things from his weyrledge and only speaking up when he needs to. In fact, after he grew up a bit, most people agree he's perfect for S'bryn. Their personalities match up amazingly well.
