Physical Description: J'thaum has dirty blonde hair that he keeps short and spikey. He stands at a lanky 6'1, has broad shoulders but the rest of his lacks any large muscle definition, keeping him boyish in appearance. He eyes are green and he sports a dimple in his right cheek. His skin is well tanned, something that he works hard on. He has a minor Threadscore on his right arm.

Personality: J'thaum is a gentleman in all things, except that he maintains a very humorous side to his mannerisms. He loves to humor people with stories but equally enjoys a good tale. He keeps himself busy but never does anything halfway. It bothers him greatly when other people break their promises.

Background: Jonethaum was born at Northlight Weyr in the Ninth Pass, the first son of J'lian and Thaumana. He expected early on to become a dragonrider, especially a bronzerider, but in the meantime, occupied himself with the chores of weyrbrathood until he was twelve, when he took on harpercraft. He only stayed in the craft for three turns before, after Standing three times, he walked away with Briyarth.

J'thaum's younger sister, who had a habit of getting tangled up with bad boys, often disappeared for turns on end, and in an unfortunate turn of events, vanished with her misguided boyfriend with such abandon that their family feared for her safety. The only indication of where they were was a "Dusk Forest" scrawled on a piece of parchment. After some research (and the discovery a journal written by a Janetha), J'thaum, with his little brother Jhonen, went back /between/ times to find their sister at this DuskForest Weyrhold.
