Physical Description:D'nar has raven black hair that would fall into his harper blue eyes were it not for the fact that the man wears them swept to one side. The man's facial features are a bit too sharp but it does not take away from his handsome personality.

The wingleader prefers to wear comfortable riding leathers and a dark blue tunic, cinched at his waist by a sash. Riding boots are a must, especially if they are kept nice and shiny, are black, and rise to his knees.

Personality: D'nar is a rather laid back person, his "feathers" aren't easily ruffled. However, when leading the wing D'nar rules with an ironfist because the bronezrider believes that thread and fall should be taking seriously, whether they be actually in a fall or in wing drills.

Although D'nar does enjoy a good cup of wine and some feminine company, the Wingleader rarely lifts a cup of wine to his lips as he is too busy pouring over hides and more hides detailing thread from turns passed.

Background: D'nar was born and raised at a Northern Weyr, and at the time he couldn't have imagined his life anywhere else. However, as the weyrbrat grew older he soon came to realize that certain riders and children were treated better than others. If your parents rode a gold, or bronze, or even a brown, you were treated fairly well, given extra clothing, and special treatment. The child of a greenrider, however, was treated as if they didn't exist. It just so happened that D'nar's mother was a greenrider, a loving, hard-working woman who would not let people treat her as if she wasn't there. Perhaps this is where D'nar gets a touch of his stubborness, however, he gets his hatred of thread from the fact that his greenriding mother was killed in threadfall when he turned 17.

Not three months later Dijnar was placed onto the hatching sands, he had nothing better to do afterall, he decided. There Dijnar's hopes came alive as he impressed a large, healthy, vibrant, bronze dragonet. D'nar and Dajith were the best of friends, as a lifemate and his rider should be. However, D'nar was never careless or reckless, as were most Weyrlings, as his mother's death served as a constant reminder to him of what thread could do. When the Weyrling pair finally graduated to a fighting wing D'nar was ready to fight thread with his faithful lifemate.

Even though D'nar was born of a greenrider the leaders of the Weyr could not look over the fact that he was hard-working and one of the best and most experienced riders at the Weyr, having been a rider for 15 turns. When the position of Wingleader came up at the Weyr the Weyrleaders, however, did not choose the son of a greenrider, even though he was more than qualified for the position, they gave it to the son of the Weyrwoman Second.

D'nar had had enough of being judged because of his birth, and so he immediately began researching about Weyr's on the southern continent. When he heard of Dusk Forest Weyrhold and their situation he immediatly applied for the position of Wingleader and was pleased when his application was approved.

Two sevendays later, D'nar and Dajith transfered down to the Weyrhold.

Dragon Name: Dajith
Age: 15
Riders age at Impression:
Color: Bronze

Dragon Description: Dajith is like his rider as far as personality goes. The bronze dragon is easy to get along with and enjoys passing along the Weyr Gossip to any willing listener. After 15 turns of riding Dajith as gained wisdom (even if he can't remember it all).

The bronze dragon is large with a great wingspan that allows for high flight and stamina. Dajith's hide is a rustic bronze, almost always sparkling from a fresh washing or oiling. A few minor scars fleck the dragon's tail and flanks, but over all his hide remains unblemished.
