Physical Description: Short, slender, and oh-so-feminine, Caery has deep brown hair kept woven into several braids, then knotted at the back of her head. Her milky chocolate-toned skin is almost the same color as her eyes, offsetting the bright colors she likes to wear.

Personality: A born flirt, Caery has several times found herself in rather nasty situations with other riders� weyrmates and such. She can�t quite keep her affectionate nature in check. Despite this, when it comes to her work, she buckles down and is very serious - just keep those blueriders away! She secretly wants a child, which is her inner excuse for her bed-hopping, although she�d never admit that to anyone. Most other women have no respect for her, but she can be a truly good friend to anyone who she feels worthy of having that title - male _or_ female.

Background: Caery was born to a dolphineer and his wife at Dawn Rain Hold. She had a quiet childhood, until she discovered boys at the age of 12. By the time she was 14, her parents had started her training as a dolphineer, hoping it would settle her down. It didn�t happen.

Their efforts to control their daughter were cut short when she was Searched just after her 15th birthingday, although it all became moot when Caery chose to stay on even after not Impressing her first time out on the sands. She belonged to the weyrhold from then on, and her choice was rewarded when she Impressed green Shainth two turns later.

Under the watchful eyes of the weyrlingmasters she kept herself under control, but as soon as Shainth rose for her first mating flight, she was back to her old tricks.

It brought her into trouble with the powers-that-be several times, so now, although she still enjoys the company of men, she tries to avoid those with prior attachments.

When J'syn and Sierrata left Dawn Meadows, along with most of the riders who had come with them, Caery chose to go with them... Well. Was strongly encouraged would be a better term.
