An obscure pic--but that's Wayne

I first heard Wayne play when he auditioned for the New South in 1988.  I was looking for a funky slap bassist and he showed up.  I can't even remember how I found him but was I ever glad I did.  Since we were a three piece band, we needed someone who could really carry the band.  It was great.  I could actually leave the stage and let my bass player and drummer carry 10-15 minutes by themselves.  We had two and a half great years and I hope Wayne is out there playing somewhere tonight.
