Terry & Mandy Oates

I met Terry and Many in Cannes and subsequently ran into them several times at MIDEM and in London.  What a lovely couple.  Terry was the publisher and manager for more writers & artists than I could possibly name and is with Eaton Music, Ltd.  I  remember the night that the whole ASCAP contingent went to dinner and I was left to fend for myself.  (I'm still a BMI writer)  Terry and his wife invited me to their hotel for dinner. I had no idea. We went to this 14th Century Chateau way on the outskirts of Cannes.  We didn't even order dinner and they brought more food than 10 people could eat.  We had an exhorbitant dinner, bottles of wine and Napolean Brandy.  The whole experience was just too much.  Terry and Mandy knew many of my clients and friends back in Nashville and I hope that I can see them again soon.
