She Don't Play Fair!

I wrote this song at 1313 Beanland in Oxford, MS.  That house was owned by my manager for a while and then later became the home for quite a few of my friends.  Later on it was the namesake of BEANLAND the band from Oxford.  So that address has had some musical history.  I remember this song to have taken me the least amount of time to write than any other song.  I had come in from Memphis to visit and had a visitor...she knows who she is.  Be that as it may,  I was crashing on the bottom floor and was sitting on the couch with my guitar when this song just happened.  It was written almost as fast as I could play it and it's been one of my more popular songs.  I originally cut it at the studio house in Oxford but decided it was time to re-cut since Chris Ethridge could lend his southern rock bass lines to it. I'm very please how it's turned out even though it was quite a bear to mix.
