I met Po in Oxford in the early 80's.  He came over to play and I was convinced.  A truly great player, he was in the Flashbacks on the spot.  He played with me in the Flashbacks in the early 80's and with The New South in the late 80's. His father is Barry Hannah the writer in residence at Ole Miss.  He once wrote in the Mississippi Magazine that he would see his son play and go home and weep over his dull prose.  I haven't heard from him in years but I trust he's out the playing somewhere tonight.
