Pedal Steel

Mike has been playing around Meridian since I can remember. I must have seen him play guitar a hundred times in several different bands or maybe it was the same band with different members. Be that as it may, I had heard that he had taken up the pedal steel guitar and that he had gotten pretty good. I'd say he's learned it quite well. We had him over on a Saturday afternoon which rolled into the evening and after a few takes, he'd pretty much nailed it and we "comped" his parts to make for a what I feel is a very fluid take on each song. He currently works at Peavey Electronics and lives in Meridian.
