Doak Sneed

Doak was one of the first songwriters I met in Nashville. In fact, he was working at the Country Music Hall of Fame -- Studio B when I first met Owen Bradley and got my office at 30 Music Square West. Another native I believe of that magical place--Bandera, Texas, Doak is great guy and a good friend. He recorded at my studio some and I've always wanted a copy of his song "High Risin' Fastball". --Catcher wants a curve ball and King shakes him off at the mound.-- Awesome. I believe he now writes for Starstruck, Reba McEntires publishing company. I sure miss those easy days in the summer and fall of 1990.
