We're a group of mothers in Durham Region who get together regularly for playdates, coffee, mom's nights outs, daytrips and more!
When do you meet?
We meet every Monday morning, alternating weeks at the Oshawa Center and the Pickering Town Center at 9:30am for exercise, coffee and conversation.
Where are the playgroups?
Playgroups are held at members homes, playplaces and in nice weather parks and outdoors. Please check the calendar for more information.
How do I know what's going on?
We keep a running calendar on the boards which shows all events, location and information. We also send out a monthly newsletter at the beginning of every month highlighting monthly plans - some events are added after the fact - you can always see what's going on via the calendar.
How much is membership?
Membership at Durham Region Moms is FREE! You pay your own way for outings and events but there is no charge to access our boards and calendar once you become a member
How do I host a playgroup? How do I plan an event?
Easy! Just PM one of the admins or moderators and we can get you started! Members are able to post their own events on the calendars as well.
How do I join?
Easy!!! Click here to join - once you register we ask that new members fill out a form about themselves (it will be emailed to you once you fill in the registration info) One of our admins or moderators will call you to have a quick chat before you are approved. This protects us as some personal information and photos are posted on our boards - we like to know who has access to this information.
