Recipe of the Day:
The Kindercare Class took a field trip to Laclede  Gas to learn how to cook and to enjoy the fruits of their labor.  While it t was a rainy day when Andrea and her classmates arrived at Laclede Gas, this did not dampen their spriits.  Everyone seemed to enjoy and anticipate this experience.

Once inside,  the class  was escorted into a large room with a kitchen set up on a stage.  However, this was not the where the cooking was to take place.  The class was divided into 3 groups because of the actual kitchen which had three stoves. There the fun began.  It got a little sloppy making all that good stuff to eat but  each child got a turn to experience the  cooking process .  I was getting hungry just smelling the hamburger cook up. The menu consisted  of Sloppy Joes, Fruit Juice Fizz, Brownie Soup, and Baked Apples for dessert.  Yummy!!

It was a great experience for the kids learning how to cook.  I am sure Mom was delighted in knowing that now, she has an experienced backup chef in the house.

Kindercare kids have a
field day making Sloppy Joes and other tasteful delights.
It was  A Real GAS!!!!
