Brandon could be described as quietly powerful. His calm, cool demeanor Is effectively portrayed in his life and his music. After learning a few chords on the guitar at age 14, he quickly realized he must have more, and like any addiction, it soon had him creating ways to feed it. His self-taught guitar playing has been described as instinctive, playing completey by feel and intuition.
Brandon's progression has led him to filling the shoes of lead vocalist, despite the bands original setup of varied responsibility to that role. More than a guitar player/vocalist, Little Brandon, as he is known by some of his friends, is quite large when it comes to the driving force of creativity. Teaming up with life long friend and biological brother, Jeremy, and later, Marvin and Matt, they began feeding the need of creation. The creation of songs, that is. "Admittedly, the first few were a little dorky," he says, and still considers himself along with the band as still learning and evolving.
He is truly a chaser of musical passion and artistic embrace. He expresses himself by saying, "I just hope other people can enjoy listening to what we enjoy making." |
