| The magic kingdom is the first park you should visit if you are a first time visitor. The Magic Kingdom is a park about fantasy, the old west, the jungles, the future and small town Amercia. When you step into the park you hear music playing from the movie "The Music Man" and smell the popcorn popping. When you get to main street make a place to meet your group in case you get separated or to meet back at. I always pick a burger shop on main street call "Casey's Corner" which has a big screen TV you can watch as well as get some good french fries. I suggest that you visit Tommorow Land early and ride the speedway because the line is long later in the day. There are 2 roller coasters in the park, "Big Thunder Mountain" in 'Fronteer Land" and "Space Mountain" in "Tommorow Land" both are great. With the new "Fastpass" feature you don't need to wait in such a long line. If you really like a ride with "Fastpass" get a pass and then ride the ride and then when you get off you can get right back on it. I like doing this for rides like "Big Thunder Mountain". Don't miss SpectroMagic and Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks (check park map for times). If you buy something have it sent to you resort (you don't have to carry it and it's free). Make sure to get a park map because it is easy to get lost in the maze of paths. |
