My Interpretation
Faye is a neat character I think. She's acts so brave and tough when the truth is--she's not. Faye feels lost because she can't remember her past, and then when she does, she's feels alone and sad. I can understand that. I don't think that I'd want to be frozen and awakened years later. I think that she sees Spike as her family--an older brother type, and that's why she yells at him all the time. The thoughts of losing another family member is hard for her, and that's why she reacts the way she does in the final episodes.
