///ADV Is Nice\\\

I just read on Animenation's news section, that ADV is putting liner notes on the Senkaiden Hoshin Engi DVD release. This marks the first time ever that ADV has done something like this. They didn't even include liner notes for the only two titles which they stuck exactly to the Japanese version--Evangelion and Nadesico. I'm proud of them! From what Animenation said in the article it sounded as if the reason ADV is doing this is because of the many characters in this show. However, I hope that this becomes standard practice for them. I love reading liner notes! The liner notes on the Rurouni Kenshin releases are actually teaching me about the Meiji period of Japanese history. So I'm a book worm, and I like information--can't help it ^_^. Look for this ADV release under the title, "Soul Hunters." Now I just wish they'd set a release date ^_^.

Update!
Okay, so this update is a little late, but I've been busy... The liner notes were a big disappointment. They only explained why they spelled some of the names the way they did, and then explained what the paopei's names meant. Okay, so that was nice of them, but still... Oh well, also, the sub job got a little too literal in some spots; so much so, that in the fith episode they stopped being as literal and reverted to old ways, and it was extremely obvious. Well, at least the show is good, but I'm not even getting into what I think about the dub version.
