The reason I'm calling this the "pointless duo" is because in the show, after Vash is declared "Mankind's first human act of God," the two girl's don't need to be there anymore. However, after watching it a second time through--this time almost in one sitting, yes I have no life right now :)-- I realize that they were necessary to a point. So instead of discussing why they shouldn't have been there, I'm going to discuss their relations to the gentlemen, Vash and Nicholas.
To tell the truth, the relationships between these four characters are very important to the progression of the story. I was either really bored when I wrote these or on one of my, 'why did Milly and Meryl have to act like they do?' mood. Well, anyway, here it is, my discussion about the complicated relationships inside of Trigun.
