| About Us You have now reached the depths known as Pwned by the Pant Devil. This is the site (or set of pages) related to the guild of teh same name from neopets. We started this guild because the last guild we (the Council Members) were in kicked us because we voiced our opinion about the artwork they would post on their website that they thought looked extremely good, but would be very bad photoshop jobs. We would also tell what we thought about the guild layouts, which was not always positive. However, in our defense, it was a guild about being digital artist, which they were not, and they would ask for the guild's thought on the new layout, or would atleast point out that there was a new layout so check it out. Come to find out, later on after they kicked us out, one of them posted a message stating that "I am glad Wah_wah_brush, and her little crew are gone, the posted their opinions too much". So they would get mad at us for posting our thought on how to better an image or layout [Note: The guild council is composed of college students educated in art, and 2 going for degrees in graphic design, and fine arts....so they were mad to get opinions from actual art people....this is understandable being that the guild leader and her little friend were young, the leader I am unsure of, but her friend was only in the 5th or sixth grade] The same friend that stated we posted our opinions too much is the type of person that posts messages like the following in a guild: Person: Hello is anyone here? Person: I guess no one is here. Person: I wish some one was here Person: me lonely Person: hmmmm Person: no one here yet Person: me bored Person: No one is here Person: I am the most active member Person: cuz i make the most post Very annoying if you ask me, or the rest of the council. This person would claim to be the most active, and would do nothing, not donate, not host a contest, not turn in drawings....nothing. This person did donate, after we called her on it, then she made a big deal about how she was donating, but when it come to other things, she was to lazy to do them so if you confronted her about them she would state everything was already being done so she couldn't do anything, which of course is complete crap. This person also as you can see, from my example could take up to 5 messages or more to make one complete thought. instead of "wow no one is here, man i am bored I wish someone else was here" it gets broken down into several posts of meaningless blabber. So through out our few weeks in that guild, we started 2 giveaways, and we basically the most active members of the guild, but no one else seemed to care about the guild, Both I (crystal_ball_85) and wah_wah_brush become council members, within a short period of time. We hosted contests (giveaways) and had many ideas (which are now ideas of this guild) but no one was active enough to be envoled in anything, so it was hard to get input from the other Neopet players. That in it's self is quite annoying. So after a little while, they really begin to hate how we point out things that shouldnt be done a better way or just things to try, or any opinion in general, they finally get very mad and wah wah and darthie leave the guild. I was left there because that ordeal of them leaving occured while I was in classes so I get back to the guild to find my two friends gone, and all of my administrative powers gone. I make a request for my admin powers back, and once i get them i make one final statement to them by completley redoing the guild layout, terrible how they hot linked one of wah wahs images...pictures are subject to change... |
