| You climb the ladder and find yourself in a large hayloft, a place where grain and bales of hay are piled up to the ceiling. The air is warm, and golden sunlight streams in through a few skylights. Out of the corner of your eye, you notice a movement in a bale of hay, and a rat runs across the floor in front of you. Before you can so much as blink, a pink and black blur swoops down and swiftly gobbles it down with pleasure. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| He looks up at you and purrs sweetly, as if pleased with himself, and you bend down to stroke him. You can't help but stare a bit at the odd colors, the wings, and the horns, but it seems friendly enough. A purple and blue one comes running, this one looking much more traditional feline. She rubs against your legs, demmanding to be patted as well. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| "What are you cuties?" you ask, expecting they will answer like most creatures here. A voice from behind you replies, "Hunter Cats." You turn, and instead of the cat speaking you see Pixie cradling another, much odder looking Cat in her arms. "Aren't they wonderful? We've not had a single rat eating the grain around here since these three moved in!" The mohawked taloned Cat in her arms meows in agreement, and Pixie sets it down gently. "Well, best leave them to their work...come along, traveler." You take one final glance at the trio, then turn to climb back down the ladder. | |||||||||||||||||||||
