Maxwell. That wasn�t his real last name. He must have given it to himself because he lived at this church. �I will find you someday,� the young woman whispered.

Duo was in the grocery store, sneaking into the pastry section. He wasn�t allowed in that part of the store according to Hilde. She was trying to get the two of them on a healthier diet. Duo was in perfect condition, but Hilde wouldn�t let him have any junk anyway. Duo ate a lot of sugary and salty foods and if he didn�t stop soon he would get fat.

He stood in front of the glass window and stared at the hot, baked goods. �Donuts or cookies, donuts or cookies,� he said to him self. The baker behind the counter came up to him, �What would you like today, sir?�

�Hmmm, I think I will take five donuts and a�.� he was cut short because someone tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around quickly and covered his face. He knew it was Hilde. I am gunna get smacked, he thought.

�Look, Hilde, I am sorry. I just couldn�t help myself. I can�t take this diet thing,� he explained. He took his arms away from his face and looked to see why Hilde hadn�t answered him.

It wasn�t Hilde standing in front of him. It was a young woman who looked only about a couple years younger than the 22 year old Duo. Her blonde hair framed her face and her blue eyes were glowing with excitement and curiosity. Her make-up was heavy and it looked as though she was trying to hide bruises and scratches that you could see very faintly through her foundation. People might think that she was a Goth because she wore her mascara and black eye liner so dark.

The girl was wearing a black three-quarter sleeved sweater that tied only at the waste. She had a loose black skirt that went to her knees and a red tube top. Her boots came up to her calves.

The only jewelry that she wore was an old sliver chain with a small heart shaped locket hanging on it.

Duo was surprised. �May I help you?� he asked. �Yes, I was wondering if you are the one called Shinigami, or Duo Maxwell?� she said. �Yes, I am. Why might I ask?� he replied.

The young woman�s face lit up with pure joy and she jumped up and wrapped her arms around Duo tightly. �I can�t believe I found you!� she exclaimed. �I have been searching for you ever since I heard you were alive.�

Duo was surprised. He pulled the girl off of him. �Why were you looking for me and where did you hear I was dead?� he asked. �You don�t remember me, do you?� she asked sadly. Duo shook his head.

Just as she was about to explain Hilde walked up. �Duo! What are you doing down here?� she asked with an angry tone. She looked next to her and saw the young woman. �Who is this?� she asked. �I don�t know yet. She was just about to tell me,� he answered.

�I am Alexandra, Duo�s younger sister,� she said. Hilde gasped and Duo stumbled backward. �I don�t have any family though,� he said in surprise. �How do I know you aren�t some stalker freak that wants to seduce me?�

Alexandra pulled out an old picture and handed it to Duo and Hilde. It was the picture of the child with long chestnut tied back in a braid.

Duo was surprised again. �No one has pictures of me as a child, not even the church. How did you get this?� The picture was of Duo when he was about six years old.

�I have had it ever since I was little,� she said. �How can you be my sister though?� he asked. She was about to explain, but Hilde stopped her. �Lets go back to the apartment, Duo. She can explain everything there,� she said.

Duo nodded and they purchased their groceries and left the store to go to Duo and Hilde�s apartment. They drove in silence. Duo and Hilde sat in front and Alexandra sat in back of Duo�s five seated, black truck. As Duo drove he was deep in thought. I can�t have a sister. I would remember something like that, but I did try to block out most of my past, so maybe I would for get. I won�t believe it until I have proof.

When they got to the apartment, Hilde put away the groceries and Duo lead Alexandra to the couch. �You can make your self comfy and I will get us all something to drink. Anything you want in particular?� he asked. �What ever you want I will have,� she said.

Duo and Hilde came out of the kitchen with three cokes in glasses with ice. Duo handed one to Alexandra and then sat in the armchair next to the couch. Hilde sat beside Alexandra. �Now please tell me how on Earth you could be my sister,� Duo said.

Alexandra took a sip of her coke and then set if carefully down on the wooden coaster on the coffee table. �After our parents were killed in the war you and I were separated. You were ten and I was only five. An orphanage took me in and you were left on the streets. I was adopted by a rich couple and I grew up as a happy, only child. I had always known I was adopted and my parents told me I had a brother when I was little. When I was ten I was very smart for my age and I wanted to know about my older brother, so I had asked my parents to find out about you. I wanted to know if you were alive or not. We found out about you and found out your name was Duo and that you had lived at Maxwell Church, but you had been killed when the OZ troops had blown up the church.

�I would watch the news with my father in the morning before I left for school and one morning it had said that pilots in Gundam suit had been destroying OZ troops. The most recent report was about a young man that was 15 years old and was named Duo Maxwell, but called himself Shinigami, �The God of Death.� I knew it was you because the picture looked almost the same as the one in my locket, except you were older and you last name was different on the news. Our last name is really Johnson.

I was so happy, but I was worried that you would get killed in the war. Once Mariemaia declared war I knew I had to find you. My father worked for her and they had so many mobile suits, more than OZ had ever dreamed of having. I ran away from home and when I was hiding in a back alley a man walked up to me. He said his name was Professor G and he asked me if I was Alexandra Johnson. He told me that he knew my brother, who was you, and he said that I should go to help you in the war against Mariemaia. He took me to a secret lab and her told me about the Gundams. I was told that I would have to pilot one. He built me one. It much resembles the Deathscythe Hell, but more powerful. I learned to pilot it quickly with great expertise. Professor G told my that I was a fully trained pilot and now I had to name my Gundam. I named it Shinigami. I was supposed to help in the battle against Mariemaia, but then Professor G told me not to because none of the other Gundam pilots knew about me and I would get myself killed, so I waited. When the war was over I went out on my search for you taking Shinigami with me.

�I searched almost everywhere on Earth, mostly in America because that is were our parents were from New York, so I thought you would go there. I heard from some soldiers that you were in Japan, planning to blow up a new base that has been put together by old OZ soldiers.

�I went there immediately and I hid my Gundam and searched the entire base without anyone knowing. I didn�t find any bombs anywhere and when I was sneaking past an office there were a few men talking. I heard one say something about a Gundam, so I stood outside the door and listened. They have found pieces of the Gundams that were self-detonated and they have put them back together with more power now. They are planning to kill all of the former Gundam pilots and they were going to start with you, Duo. They said you were on Colony L2, so I was planning on coming here. I got so intrigued at what they were saying, so I would know where the Gundams were and how to steal them before they were used for evil, but my gun dropped out of my hands and clattered onto the ground. They heard me and I ran.

�They chased me and followed me to where I was hiding my Gundam. I got into it and flew into space. I got away from them, but they know who I am from the fingerprints on my gun. They also know that there is now another Gundam to worry about,� Alexandra finished.

Duo couldn�t take it all in. He had a sister who was adopted, but she found him. She learned how to pilot a mobile suit and had her own Gundam, which she had named after him. Now OZ is back to trying to gain full power over Earth and they have the original five Gundams. �May I see your locket?� Hilde asked. �Sure,� said Alexandra. She took her locket off carefully and handed it to Hilde. Hilde opened it and looked at the picture inside. I had a family picture in it with Duo and Alexandra and their parents.

�Duo, she is your sister,� Hilde said in awe. Duo looked at the picture and knew that that was the final proof he needed. He stood up and took Alexandra�s hand and pulled her up. �I am so sorry I didn�t remember you, but I am getting little bits of my memory back now,� he said smiling. He hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead. �I am glad you are safe now, my little sister, Ally.�

Alexandra smiled and hugged Duo again. She was so glad she had found him. Ally. That is what he called her when they where little. She remembered the two of them playing in the park on Colony L2, where they were now, safe, with each other.

After they ate dinner it was late. �Hmmm,� Duo said to himself. He looked up at Alexandra and said, �Where will we have you sleep?� �I can sleep on the couch, you don�t need to worry,� she said. �That would be rude of us,� said Hilde, �You can sleep in my bed and I will bunk with Duo. He has a queen size bed, being the greedy guy he is,� Hilde said teasingly to Duo.

�Alrighty,� Duo said, �I�ll be right back with clean sheets for you.� He picked Hilde up and wrapped her in his arms. �I have to put her to bed first,� he said happily and winked at Alexandra. He set Hilde down and tickled her. She squealed with joy and ran from Duo. �There is an extra toothbrush in the bathroom,� he said as he chased Hilde to his room.

Alexandra went into the bathroom, washed her face and brushes her teeth. She looked up at the mirror. Without her make-up, she looked very different. Her face didn�t glow with happiness like it did before. She had bruises and scratches all over her face from battling with OZ and her boyfriend.

Her boyfriend, Brian, had taken care of her for so long. She didn�t tell Duo about him because she didn�t want him and Hilde to worry. He was the only one who knew she had a Gundam. He was the guy who had helped her find out information about Duo.

Brian was helping Alexandra find Duo after she had gotten her Gundam. They fell in love and then Brian ran away with Alexandra. When Alexandra found out that Duo was supposed to be in Japan she decided to leave without Brian because he had been getting drunk a lot lately and he would yell at her and abuse her. When she was spying on the soldiers who had the Gundams, she recognized Brian�s voice and she saw him talking with the other soldiers. They knew where to find Duo and kill him because of Brian. He had known the whole time and didn�t tell Alexandra.

When she dropped her gun, Brian was the first to see Alexandra. He knew now that his secret had been found out. He is the one most after her than all of OZ. She stilled loved him deep inside and missed him because he was the only one in the whole world who had seemed to care about her other than her parents who adopted her since her real parents had died and since Duo had disappeared.

Alexandra wiped her tears away and walked into Hilde�s room and Duo was sitting on the bed. It was dark so Duo couldn�t see her bruises. He handed her a pair of pajama�s and pulled the sheets down so she could crawl in when she was done changing. �Good-night, Ally,� he said. He kissed her on the cheek, hugged her and left, closing the door behind him. Alexandra changed and went to bed, but only to have nightmares about Brian.

As Alexandra was dreaming about Brian, he was standing outside of Duo�s apartment. He knew she would come here. �You will pay for leaving me, Alexandra,� he said quietly to himself.

Even though he had only used her to get to Duo, he still loved her some. He wanted revenge on Alexandra, she had found out his plan and he knew she had probably already told Duo about it. He didn�t know how much she had heard back in Japan in the new OZ base, but he knew whatever she heard, Duo would know about it.

�I will see you tomorrow night,� Brian said to himself with a hint of evil laughter. He would kidnap Alexandra while she was sleeping. He took a sip of his beer and walked away.

In the morning Alexandra woke up to the smell of pancakes. She was confused at first and didn�t know where she was. She usually woke up to the heavy smell of cigarettes and alcohol because she only had enough money to stay in cheap hotels. She only made money from pick pocketing and getting odd jobs ever once in a while. It was really no life anyone would want to live.

She sat up quickly and stared at the mirror on the dresser that was at the end of her bed. She saw her torn up face and got up out of bed. She grabbed her clothes and ran into the bathroom.

Alexandra changed into her clothes that she wore the day before. All of her other stuff was in her hotel she was staying in. That meant no make-up to cover her face.

She stuck her head out the door and yelled out to Hilde, �Hilde?� �Yeah Hun, whatcha need?� she answered back. �Do you have any make-up in here that I may borrow?� �Yup, it is under the counter.� �Thank you,� Alexandra said politely.

Ally found the bag of make-up under the counter, just as Hilde had said. The bag wasn�t that big, which wasn�t that pleasing to Alexandra. She opened it and she wasn�t much more pleased. All that was in it were basic cosmetics, mascara, foundation, a light pink blush, light blue eyeliner, and a few shades of light eye shadow.

�Oh boy,� Alexandra said, �This will be tough.� She started with the foundation and fortunately it was her skin tone. She carefully made sure to cover all of her bruises. Then she took the mascara and put a lot on.

She looked around her on the counter and saw a little jar with q-tips in it. She took one out and ripped the cotton off of it. Alexandra dipped the corner of the q-tip in the mascara tube and then used it as eyeliner. �There,� she said with a bit of satisfaction in her voice. �I guess this will have to do.� Then she walked out into the kitchen.

Hilde had hoped that Alexandra wouldn�t be able to wear as much make-up now because she didn�t have the kind of stuff that Ally would need, but she was way wrong. Alexandra came out looking just as she did the day before.

�Ally,� Duo said, �do we need to go shopping for you? I am sure you don�t have anything else, huh?� �I have other clothes, but they are in my motel. Do you think we can stop by there sometime today?� �Sure,� he said, smiling as he ruffled her hair.

They all ate breakfast and talked about what would happen that day. �We have to get together with all the other Gundam pilots. I called them all last night and we are meeting at Quatre�s house, which is on Colony 4. We will go to the motel where you stuff is, Ally, and then we will fly over there.� �Okay,� she said.

They drove to the motel. It was very old and it smelled everywhere. Duo looked over to Alexandra to see if she noticed the smell. She seemed to not care that is smelled so awful.

They walked into the motel. The clerk was sitting behind a bulletproof glass wall. �He looked up to see who had walked in. �Hey Alex, you didn�t check in yesterday,� he said with a gruff voice. �Yeah, I know. I was at my brother�s house. I am checking out for good today, Okay?� she said. �Yeah whatever.�

Alexandra walked up the stairs with Duo and Hilde following. Alexandra bent down and pulled the room�s key out of her boot. She unlocked the door and walked in.

The room reeked of cigarettes and alcohol. �Ally,� Hilde said, �you don�t smoke do you?� she asked. �No,� Alexandra frowned, �cigarettes are gross. I know it smells bad in here, but I don�t drink a lot of alcohol or smoke. I have gotten used to the smell around here because this is the only kind of motel I can stay in. I can�t afford much else.� Alexandra shrugged as she picked up her bag, �I don�t mind it though. I have stayed in places worse than this before. Even though I lived as a rich little girl, this just shows me how awful it is for other people, so why shouldn�t I have lived this way when everything was so awful for me.�

The three of them walked out of the room. Alexandra heard someone behind them and she turned around quickly. She saw him, �Brian,� she whispered. He was locking his motel room door. How did he know she would come here she thought.

Duo saw here eyes get wide with fright. He looked to she at what she was staring at. It was some guy that he had never seen before. She didn�t mention any guy last night.

Alexandra dropped her key. It clattered onto the ground. Brian turned around and saw Alexandra. �Alex!� he yelled. Alexandra grabbed her bag tight and ran down the stairs as fast and she could.

Brian chased after her and Duo and Hilde chased after him. Alexandra ran to an abandoned warehouse. She went into it and ran up to a big lump lying down in the middle of the room, covered by a big canvas tarp. She pulled as hard as she could on the big canvas and tore it off quickly.

It was her Gundam. She jumped on top of it and climbed into the cockpit. Alexandra turned the Gundam on as fast as she could. She threw her stuff into the back of her Gundam and sat down and buckled up. She stood Shinigami up. She was about to fly through the roof, but she saw Brian run into the warehouse followed by Duo and Hilde.

She unbuckled herself quickly and opened the cockpit door. �Meet me at Quatre�s,� She yelled down to Duo. She got back into Shinigami and flew up through the old roof and flew towards the spaceport. She went through all of the gates and flew in space. She went directly to Colony L4. She didn�t need a space suit on in Shinigami when she was in space because it had and oxygen tank inside of it.

Brian yelled with anger and punched a stack of wood. His fist went right through three pieces of it. Brian was very strong and very well built. You could see his gorgeous muscles through his tight, black shirt.

Duo looked at him with a questioning look. �Why was Ally so afraid of you? Why are you after her?� he asked. �She knows too much information and I will kill her for it,� Brian said. �With her being my girlfriend and all, maybe I will get something from her before I kill her,� he said in a twisted way. Then Brian ran out of the warehouse and hopped onto a motorcycle he put a helmet on and then drove away.

Duo and Hilde ran to their car and followed Brian. Neither of them knew why he wanted Alexandra and if he really was her boyfriend, why hadn�t she said anything.

Brian drove to the spaceport and jumped off of his motorcycle. He ran to a mobile suit and threw the pilot out. He put on a space suit, buckled up, and started the engine.

Just as Brian was about to shut the cockpit door, Duo and Hilde sped in. Duo jumped out of the car and ran up the mobile suit. �Leave my sister alone!� he yelled.

�Your sister?� Brian yelled back. �So you are the famous Duo Maxwell. I will come back for you after I get you precious little sister.� With that he shut the cockpit and flew off towards Colony L4.

Ally was just getting to the colony as Brian was leaving. When she got there she stopped right before she entered the colony. Where would she put her Gundam, she wondered? Then she got an idea and flew in.

She flew right through the gates just as she had done in Colony L2. Alexandra flew to the building with the big video screen. She stopped her Gundam in front of the doors and jumped out and down from the cockpit. She kicked in the door and pulled out her gun. �Cooperate and no one will get hurt,� she said in a stern tone.

Everyone backed away from Alexandra and watched as she ran past them. She went to the control room. Ally wanted to tell everyone Brian was coming. She punched everyone in the control room and knocked them out. She went to the controls and pushed a red button and looked up into a small camera in front of her. �This is Alexandra Maxwell,� she said. �I am here to warn you about Brian Russell. He is after the Gundam pilots, Heero Yuy, Trowa Barton, Chang Wufei, Quatre Raberba Winner, and my brother, Duo Maxwell. Brian wants to kill them all and use their Gundams to take over the Earth Sphere Alliance.�

Everyone saw and heard what Alexandra had said. It was on the TV on the shuttle that Duo and Hilde were on, Brian saw it on the screen in the mobile suit he stole, and all of the other Gundam pilots saw it on the TV at Quatre�s mansion.

�That is the guy Duo told us about and if he is after all of us, then he must be after Duo�s sister too and she doesn�t know how to get here to be safe. We have to go get her,� Quatre said.

All of the Gundam pilots went to the building were Alexandra had hid. They ran past the guards and found the AP room. As they walked in Alexandra jumped out from behind a wall, pointed her gun at them and they all froze in their tracks. When Ally saw who they were she put her gun back into the holster on her upper leg.

�Where is Duo?� she said. She looked past all of them to see if he was behind them or still in the hall, but she didn�t see him. �Well, if he isn�t with you he is still at the spaceport.� She walked to the back of the room and pulled out her gun again. Alexandra kicked down a down and pointed her gun outside to see if anyone was out there. She turned back to everyone else and said, �Coming?� and then she ran out the door.

They all piled into Quatre�s limousine, with the exception of Alexandra because she took her Gundam, and drove to the spaceport as quickly as possible. Alexandra was the first there and she jumped out and ran inside. Heero jumped out of the limo and chased after her. �Alexandra! Wait!� he yelled.

Brian heard someone yell Alexandra and he looked around. He saw just what he was looking for. Alexandra was running through the spaceport followed by Heero Yuy. �Two birds with one stone,� he said slyly to himself.

He ran as fast as he could through the crowd and got past Alexandra. He stopped right in front of her and wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled out a gun and pointed it at her head. Heero pulled out his gun and pointed it at Brian.

�Put your gun down and turn around and I won�t hurt her,� Brian said calmly to Heero. Heero put his gun back into his pocket and turned around. What a fool, Brian thought.

He quickly pointed his gun at Heero and pulled the trigger. Heero ducked, pulled his gun back out and shot Brian in the arm.

Brian yelled in pain. He let go of Alexandra and clutched his arm. Ally fell to the ground in shock.

Heero ran over to her quickly and picked her up. Alexandra wrapped her arms around his neck slowly as he ran down the terminal back to Quatre�s limousine. �Heero�� she whispered and then she blacked out.

Duo and Hilde had been found by the three other Gundam Pilots and had been brought back to the limousine. As Heero ran up to them with Alexandra in his arms, Duo took her from him. He cradled his sister and kissed her forehead.

Everyone stood around the limousine and Heero said, �What about Alexandra�s Gundam?�

�I think you should pilot it back to Quatre�s,� Duo said. �You have more experience at flying a ZERO system.�

�Should I take her with me?� Heero said nodding down to the fainted Ally in his arms. �Yeah, she could help you if she wakes up,� Duo replied.

So, Heero climbed up into Shinigami with the still fainted Alexandra in his arms. She wrapped her arms closely around him as they flew back.

When they got back everyone sat in Quatre�s parlor. Heero walked in from taking Alexandra to a spare room upstairs. �She�s asleep,� he said.

Duo sighed with relief and wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. �Why was she so reckless?� he asked himself.

�She gets it from you,� Hilde said smiling. �Don�t worry so much, Duo. She is fine, we just have to make sure that this Brian guy doesn�t get a hold of her again.�

�We need a plan,� Trowa said. �We have to destroy all of OZ. If we just kill Brian, they will find someone else to track us down and if we just kill their leader, they will just get another one.�

�We need to steal our Gundams back,� Wufei said. Then we can blow up their base and killed them all at once.�

�Does this really require killing everyone and everything,� Quatre said. �We could just capture the base and capture their leader and reason with them.�

As the kept trying to figure out how to defeat OZ Brian was standing outside looking up at the window of the room Ally was sleeping in. The room glowed with a dim light of a candle.

He pulled a small cell phone out of his pocket and dialed in a number quickly. �It�s me,� he said, �They are at the Winner mansion. I�ll take care of the girl, you take the rest.� Then he hung up.

Brian ran to the side of the house. He climbed up the small ladder attached to house for fire emergency. Brian opened the window to Alexandra�s room and slipped in.

He stared at her. The dim gleam of the candle made her seem to glow with a beautiful golden light. She is so serene and exquisite, but inside she is so murderous and cunning, he thought to himself.

Brian bent over and gently picked her up and covered her mouth firmly with his hand. She woke up instantly and tried to scream. She squirmed, kicked, punched, and scratched, but Brian didn�t let go of her. He gripped her tighter and she stopped struggling and whimpered with pain.

�I am going to let go of you, please don�t scream. I just want to talk to you,� Brian said quietly. She nodded and he let go of her. �What do you want?� she said angrily. �I don�t want to talk to you. I mean, usually people don�t like those people who try and kill them and all.�

�That�s fine, I don�t want to talk to you anyway,� he said as he pulled out a small spray bottle from his pocket. �We�ll talk somewhere else.� �I am not leaving,� she said. �I am going to scre��

She couldn�t say anything else because Brian sprayed the contents from the bottle into Alexandra�s face and she fell asleep. He lifted her over his shoulder and climbed back down the ladder.

Brian took her to his hotel room and laid her on the bed. He sprinkled water on Ally�s face and she blinked and covered her face with her hands.

She sat up quickly and gasped. �You kidnapped me,� she said. �How did I let this happen?�

Brian sat next to Alexandra on the bed. She looked at him suspiciously. He stared into her eyes and brushed her hair away from her eyes. Has he changed? she thought.

He ran his fingers through her hair. �What do you want with me?� she whispered. Brian wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to him. He took his other hand and brushed her hair away from her ear and whispered, �I just want you.�

Alexandra pulled away from Brian and looked into his eyes. He leaned forward to kiss her. She found herself meeting him in the middle and locking lips.

Brian pulled away and drew her closer to himself again and she wrapped her arms around his neck. He kissed her again and moved from her lips, down her neck, and back up to her lips.

Ally moved her hands down his back and the pulled her lips away from his. She smiled cunningly. Brian was confused. She pulled Brian�s gun from his back pocket and twirled it on her finger. �So sorry honey,� she said sympathetically with a sarcastic tone.

She stood up and walked over to the window. �Leave my brother and his friends alone. If you plan to kill them, you better kill me first so I don�t know because if I find out I will hunt you down until the day I die,� she said sternly.

Alexandra climbed out the window and stood on the fire escape. She looked over the rail to the ground, which was eight stories down. A sly smile grew on her face.

�The fire escape is broken,� Brian said. �Looks like you�ll be staying with me a while longer.�

�Brian, you can be so stupid,� Ally said which made Brian look at her in shock. �I know it�s broken.� And with that she jumped over the rail.

�Heero has been gone a while now,� Hilde said, worried, sitting in Quatre�s parlor. Heero had gone up to check on Alexandra while everyone was discussing the new problem with OZ and now hadn�t come back. �I�ll go up and check to see if everything is alright.�

�I�ll come with you because if Heero is on top of her I am gunna get him good. Heh heh heh,� Duo said in a joking tone. Hilde hid a smile and poke Duo in the side. They liked arms and went upstairs.

When they got upstairs, Ally�s door was shut. Duo put his ear against the door. �I don�t hear anything,� he said. He knocked on the door and opened it. Duo walked in and Hilde followed. There was no one in there and the window was open.

Alexandra closed her eyes as she fell. She could hear Brian screaming her name above. He didn�t see below her. He didn�t know. As Ally was seeing her life flash before her eyes she felt like she was going in slow motion. She seemed to land gently into the warm, strong, loving arms of her rescuer. He wrapped his arms around her tightly and ran down the back ally. �Heero,� Alexandra whispered.

Brian saw Alexandra not fall to the ground, but into the arms of a Gundam pilot. Damn, he thought. It just would have been easier if she had died without me having to kill her.

He walked quickly over to a dresser and pulled out another gun and ran out of the motel room.

�How did you know I was here?� Alexandra asked Heero after they had seemed to gotten away safely. Alexandra was still in his arms and waited patiently for him to answer.

�Right before you left I went to check on you. I heard noises coming out from your room and I stopped to listen. I heard someone climb out the window and after it was quiet I went in. You were gone and the window was open. I looked out to see you being carried off by that thug Brian. I followed him here and went to the back. I was going to climb the fire escape when you climbed out there and��

�And I jumped into your strong arms and was whisked away safely,� Ally finished smiling.�

Heero smiled back. That was the first time Alexandra had seen him smile. Heero stopped walking and looked into Alexandra�s eyes. She gazed back and her toes started to tingle. They pulled closer together and kissed.

Alexandra thought she was melting. Heero had never been happier. Alexandra pulled away and smiled at Heero. He smiled back and kissed her again. Alexandra tingled all over again and then felt an alarming pain in her back. She breathed in sharply and fell backwards, tears running from her eyes.

Heero felt her breath in sharply and opened his eyes. Alexandra fell back and he was horrified at what he saw. Blood was running through his fingers as he held Ally. He knelt down on his knee and cradled Ally�s limp body. His body racked with vicious sobs.

�Quit your crying, Yuy,� a cold voice said. Heero looked up and it was Brian. In his hand was a gun. Heero looked down at Ally�s stomach, bleeding from a sudden wound, and back up to Brian.

�It was you!� Heero screamed. �You killed her, how could you?� He pulled out his gun and pulled the trigger over and over again with rage. Brian fell to the ground and stayed there.

Heero picked up Ally�s cold body and walked silently back to Quatre�s.

Heero walked into the house. Everyone stood up and looked at Heero. �Where were�� Duo started, but stopped seeing Alexandra in his arms, limp, and Heero�s tear stained face and the blood on his hands.

Heero collapsed to the ground. �He shot her and it killed her, I didn�t have time, and she died and then, and it was my fault, and I shot him, but she died, and�� Heero couldn�t finish. He started sobbing again and held his dead love in his arms.

Duo stood there blankly with silent tears streaming down his face. Hilde ran over to Duo and hugged him. She sobbed into his shoulder as he cried.

Epilogue

Alexandra was buried and had a small funeral. OZ never carried out their plans because Brian was killed and once they had the remodeled Gundams made, they fell apart because the Gundanium crumbled. Reasons are still unknown. Today, Duo and Hilde live peacefully by themselves. Quatre still runs his father�s company. Trowa returned to the circus. Wufei went back to training. After Alexandra�s death, Heero ran away and his whereabouts are still unknown. He took Ally�s Gundam with him. Everyone assumes he self destructed the Gundam while inside so he could be with his lost lover.
