Hello guys! Even though I have gone on holiday I am still putting pen on paper for you. As I'm using my step dad’s laptop I don't have any of my other fics with me so I’m starting yet any other one.

Notes: Heero is left in pieces after Duo is killed in battle. As the other three get on with their lives and the war, Heero is left to fight the true feelings he has for his now decreased friend and realise that he loves Duo. Then Duo comes back... As a restless spirit?

Warnings: Yaoi 1x2 3+4 Angst and Death. Lemons in later chapters.

Soul Lovers - Chapter Two

 

"Why the hell did you bring me back here!?"

Everyone in the hall winced at the young master's voice.

The lord stood up and stared down at his son.

"I sent you a message a few days ago. You choose to delete it and pay no attention to it so I had to finish your life on Earth and bring you here myself."

"Why?"

"Brother there is a war going on and you are needed to fight."

"I can only go back as a God." Shinigami said not hearing the words his sister Nataku (1) told him.

"Shini." She reached for his hand.

"You brought me back here to fight a war for you! You took me away from my friends and the one that I love? Just for a war? I didn't even get to tell him that I love him." A tear rolled down Shinigami's face and he turned away from his father.

"Shinigami!"

Two houses fought each other, the heir of one refusing to stop the attack and the other was refuses to join in and fight back.

"If you want me I'll be in my room."

Wufei stared at Heero who sat alone by the pond in Quatre's large estate gardens.

Wufei noticed that it was Duo's favourite place in the garden.

"Heero? There is a mission. Me and you have to go to a school and kill Zechs."

Heero looked round unashamed (2) that Wufei saw him with red rimmed eyes.

"Accepted."

Wufei nodded and walked off, leaving Heero alone again.

Angry hit Wufei and he slammed his fist into a brick wall! He had seen the love Duo had to offer to Heero! So had Quatre and Trowa! Why? Why had it taken Duo's death for Heero to work out the way he felt about Duo?

Wufei sighed. It really was waste.
