| Notes - The other pilots are about to make an appearance! Finally! I�ve tried to keep the Weasley family as similar as to the book with the obvious differences, the surname is Yuy and Ron is Heero! This is turning out to be a lot like the book so I do apologise for that but I�m enjoying writing this and I hope you�re enjoying reading it as well! ^_^ Chapter Four Duo looked round the station. He was at King Cross Station waiting to be picked up by the Sanq Express but he couldn't find the platform. Surely Platform Nine and Three Quarters couldn't be that *hard* to find! Looking round Duo saw a nearby station guard but he knew the look he would get if he asked where platform 9 and � is. Sighing Duo glanced down at his watch and sighed, he had ten minutes to find and get on the train to Sanq or he would have to return to the Durleys and face them for the rest of his school years. It was then when he heard it. �Packed with muggles?� The dark haired boy laughed and shoved the other boy next to him. The two boys were pushing trucks similar to Duo�s. Behind the boys came two more boys, a small girl and a mother. �What�s the platform number?� The dark haired mother asked. �9 and �!� The young girl replied. �Mum Can�t I Go!?� �No Ginny you aren�t old enough! Percy you go first.� Duo�s eyes narrowed at the family as he watched the tallest and oldest boy stroll forward towards the barrier that separated platforms 9 and 10. He watched carefully but a wave of tourist came pass and the boy was gone. �You�re next Fred.� �I�m George, call yourself our mother!� One of the twins snapped. �Sorry George.� The mother smoothed her hair down. �Only joking, I�m really Fred!� And off he went walking towards the barrier and then disappearing! Duo blinked as the next twin followed the first and decided there wasn�t anything else to do Duo stepped forward. �Excuse me Mama.� The women turned to Duo and smiled. �Sanq?� �Yes.� Duo nodded. �You�re new right?� �Yep.� �So is Heero.� She pointed at her youngest son who blushed a little and looked away from Duo�s gaze. �I was just wondering�� �How to get on to the platform? Don�t worry my dear just head straight for the barrier. Best do it at a run. Go now before Heero.� Duo thanked her and turned to face the very solid barrier. Duo swallowed before beginning to walk towards it. Then he began to jog and soon he was running full out. He closed his eyes. I�m going to be in SO much trouble! He thought but instead of running into the barrier he ran through the barrier and out on to platform 9 and �. Upon opening his eyes he saw the large purple train bearing the words �SANQ EXPRESS�. His eyes travelled past the many students and parents saying good-bye to their children as he walked up the length of the train hunting for an empty carriage. He found one near the back of the train and placed his owl, which he had named Hedwig, on the train first. Then he turned to the heavy job of moving his truck into the train. He tried to pick the truck up but it was far too heavy and his foot was throbbing with pain. �Need a hand?� Duo looked up at the two twins he had seen in the station and he smiled. �Please.� �Sure thing mate!� Together the three of them managed to get the truck tucked away in the corner of the carriage. Duo let out a heavy sigh, closed his eyes welcoming the darkness he got and pushed his chestnut bangs out of his eyes. �Hay you�re Duo Maxwell!� Duo�s eyes snapped open at the boy�s voice. �So?� �Blimey!� Duo laughed. �What�s wrong with that?� �Heard many a thing �bout the Maxwell�s.� �One day maybe you can enlighten me?� �Sure thing pal.� George nodded at Duo. �Well nice meeting ya!� With a small bow the two twins waltzed off leaving Duo smiling after them. He sat himself be the window and stared out of it. He could see the Yuy family from where he sat. �Now here�s sandwiches for you all. Have a safe trip and send me an owl when you get there! And I don�t want to get another owl telling me that you two have� blown up a toilet!� �Blown up a toilet?� �We�ve never blown up a toilet.� �Great idea though!� �Thanks mum!� She glared at her sons. �Hay guess who we meet on the train?� �Duo Maxwell!� �Oh can I go see him Mum, can I can I!?� �No Ginny, the poor boy isn�t something to be stared at.� �How do you know Fred?� �Asked him!� �Show the scar!� �Do you think he remembers what you-know-who looks like?� �Don�t you dare even mention it to him! Fred, George the boy doesn�t need reminding of that on his first day at school!� She glared harder at her sons and pushed them on to the train as the whistle sounded. The girl beside her started to cry as she waved goodbye. �Don�t cry Ginny!� �We�ll send you lots of owls!� �We�ll send you the Sanq�s Toilet Seat!� Ginny gave a chuckle and Duo watched the dark brown haired mother and daughter until they were out of sight. Duo took a long last look at the platform before giving out a cry of joy. He didn�t know where he was going but he knew it had to be ten times better than the life he had just left! The compartment door slid open and Duo smiled at the youngest member of the Yuy family. �Is that seat taken?� He asked quietly. �No.� Duo�s smile widen as the boy sat down and he ran his gaze over the boy�s figure. Messy dark brown hair with dazzling prussian blue eyes and a slender in clothes that were FAR too small which hid nothing as they stretched over Heero�s groin. He wore blue jeans and a green tank top. The tank top was the only thing that wasn�t stretching but that was a pity cause Duo could just image what that chest would feel like. Duo opened his mouth to speak when the two twins walked in. �Hay Duo, look we didn�t introduced ourselves. I�m Fred Yuy and these our my bros George,� He pointed at his twin and then at the boy sitting down. �And that�s Heero.� �Hi.� Duo held out a hand to Heero who took it shyly. �Well gotta go. Muller said he had a giant spider!� The two disappeared shutting the door behind them as they left. �Are you really Duo Maxwell?� Heero asked and Duo nodded. �You got the�?� Duo pulled back his bangs and Heero peered closely. �Gosh. I thought it was just another one of my brothers jokes.� �Must be great having 5 other wizards in the family.� �7.� Duo blinked. �Shit. You have 7 brothers.� �6 brothers, 1 sister.� �Forgot.� �What�s it like living with muggles?� �Ever been to hell?� Heero looked shock. �That bad.� �Worst.� And with that Heero became Duo�s first friend. While the two talked the train carried them out of London and soon they were speeding past fields of cows and sheep. It was around midday when the first person arrived at their compartment. �Anything of the trolley dears?� She asked. Duo jumped to his feet, his braid swing and his stomach rumbling. Duo saw Heero bend into his rucksack giving Duo the best view down the top he was wearing but the small of food was too much and Duo didn�t have time to take a good long look as he dragged himself into the corridor. He brought as much as he could carry and everything was new to him, �Bertie Bott�s Every Flavour Beans, Drooble�s Best Blowing Gum, Chocolate Frogs, ect!� Heero blinked amazed as Duo struggled back in and tipped his load onto an empty chair. �Hn.� Heero snorted as Duo began to search through what he had brought while Heero was eating handmade sandwiches. Duo pulled a face at the dry looking meat and brown bread as Heero lifted it to his mouth and took a bite. Duo watched Heero eat slowly for a few minutes before realising he had been staring. �Sorry.� Duo muttered causing Heero to look at him. �Want some? Them sandwiches don�t look all the nice.� �Mum doesn�t have time. Arigatou.� �That�s Japanese!� �My mum�s side of the family is Japanese.� Duo nodded as Heero bent forward to reach across for a pumpkin pasty. Once again the tank top dropped low and Duo was graced with the sight of a muscle chest that were probably made of steel or something. Duo adverted his gaze before Heero caught him and called him a perv. So what if Duo found other men attractive? This was Heero Yuy sitting in front of him and boy was Heero hot and sexy! Duo waited until Heero had moved until he reached for a chocolate frog. He unwrapped it and bite it. �OUCH!� Heero raised an eyebrow as the frog jumped from Duo�s hand leaving Duo to bite his fingers. Duo cradled his fingers as he watched the run away chocolate frog hop away but before it could get very far it was caught by one large, grey rat! �That�s Wing.� Heero explained as Duo glared at the rat eating *his* frog. Duo shrugged it off and reached for another one, this time opening it slowly and leaving some of the wrapper still on so the frog couldn�t get free this time. This time as he eat it he didn�t only encounter chocolate but the braided boy�s teeth met hard card. The frog and card was spat across with the room where Wing quickly eat it and Heero bent down to recover the card. �I better show you how you eat these. You got Khushrenada.� Duo took the offered card and gazed at the picture of a young man barely over 20. �This is Khushrenada?� �You�ve never heard of him?� �Howard mention him but I always thought he would look� older.� Duo turned the card over and read. Trieze Khushrenada, currently Headmaster of the Sanq Palace. Considered by many the greatest wizard of modern times. He is most famous for his defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945, for the discovery of the 12 uses of dragon�s blood and his work on alchemy with his partner, Nicolas Flame. Professor Khushrenada enjoys mortal combat and one on one duelling. Duo blinked and placed the card on the seat beside him. He handed the rest of the chocolate frogs to Heero. �I�ll think I�ll pass on these.� Heero shook his head at the offer and learnt back against his chair. Heero�s gaze wondered to rest outside the window, leaving Duo free to admire the beautiful boy sitting across from him. The afternoon sun played across Heero�s features and a strand of unruly dark brown hair fell across his nose but he made no move to move it. Duo felt his thoughts of this new friend turn into something ten times stronger. In his head Duo saw himself lean forward and brush the hair from Heero�s face and kiss those lips gently. Just from thinking about what he could do to Heero caused the usual reaction to start and a familiar burning was making itself know. �Duo? Duo?� Duo�s eyes snapped open. He didn�t remember shutting them but he jumped as he found himself barely a millimetre away from those lips that had enflamed his senses. �Um�um�H-H-Hee-e-r-ro?� Duo leaned back away from Heero and adverted his eyes from the dazzling prussian ones. His body was making it very clear that it liked Heero being *this* close. Just when Duo decided he was going to go crazy the compartment door slid open. Duo looked up at the blond who was blinking at the two male students one with a hard on (But lucky Duo�s clothes were baggy otherwise it would have been very easy to see) and the other practically sitting on the other�s hard on. �This isn�t what it looks like!� Duo reassured the boy. �Right then what you are doing? Same sex relationships aren�t allowed at the Sanq. It causes fights so I heard. My name is Quatre Raberba Winner.� Heero moved back away from Duo and Duo let out a sigh and stood as well. Him and Heero stood side by side facing Quatre. �Wow. You�re Quatre Raberba Winner? The only son of the billionaire Winner Family? Shit man. I�m Duo. Duo Maxwell. I run and hide but I never lie. Me in a nutshell!� �You�re Duo Maxwell!!!???� Heero glared at the two boys who seemed to know each other but in a way didn�t. �You defected You-Know-Who!� Quatre grabbed Duo�s hand. �You-Know-Who?� Oh you mean Shinigami?� The two other boys gasped. �What?� �You said his name.� �So?� �No one says his name.� Duo looked at Heero and blushed. �Sorry. I forgot people are still scared. I�m a bit� absent-minded.� Heero and Duo gazed deep into each other�s eyes as if searching for the other�s soul. �EXCUSE ME!� Obviously Quatre didn�t like being ignored. He glared at Heero and pulled Duo�s hand. �I�m a muggle born wizard. My parents were so shocked and so were my sisters! Do you know what house you�ll be in? I want to be in Gryffindor it sounds by far the best but then the Sanq IS the best school for witchcraft and wizardry there is.� �Did you want something?� Heero snapped. �Yes. Have you seen a frog? Wufei had lost his.� �No.� �But we�re seen a few chocolate frogs.� Duo laughed at his own, not very funny, joke. �Oh well. I better go and help him search. You better change. We�ll be there soon.� Quatre left. �Well I�� �Indeed.� �What are houses?� Duo asked sitting down. �Huh?� Heero lowered himself into the chair smoothly making Duo forget what he had asked. �Um�� Duo shook his head. �What are houses? This boy mention houses back in Daigon Alley but no one really told me what these houses are.� �The houses are were you stay at Sanq. There are four, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Hufflepuff.� �What one are your brothers in?� �Gryffindor. It isn�t too bad but if he�s in there I don�t want to be.� �He didn�t seem that bad.� Heero had this suddenly urge to yell at Duo. Quatre had been eyeing Duo up and down and he shouldn�t let people do that. Then Heero blushed realising he had been doing the same thing. What was it about this braided boy? So he got rid of You-Know-Who, big deal. It wasn�t like Heero Yuy to go all gooey over someone especially a boy! �You say you have 6 brothers right?� Heero nodded. �Well there is only 4 at Sanq what happened to the other 2?� �Charlie�s in Romania studying Dragons and Bill�s in Africa doing something for Gringotts. You know the wizard bank? Did you hear about the break in? It was all over the Daily Prophet.� �What happened?� �Nothing that�s why it was so big.� They both lapped into silence and then Heero asked. �Who�s your favourite Quidditch team?� �Never played.� �What? It�s the best game ever.� Duo spent the next hour listen to Heero explain about Quidditch and different brooms. Heero had just gotten to the finer points of the game when the compartment door slid open and the boy from Daigon Alley walked in, followed by two other boys �So it�s true. Everyone is saying Duo Maxwell is in this compartment. It�s you is it?� �Yes.� �I�m Draco Malfoy.� Duo glanced at the other two boys. �This is Crabbe and that�s Goyle.� �Hi.� Malfoy glanced round the compartment and rested his gaze on Heero. �Well if it isn�t Heero Yuy?� �All too soon.� Heero hissed. �I say you do look� good enough to eat.� Duo growled in his throat and stood up. �Did you want something?� �I came to offer the hand of friendship. You don�t want to hang round with the wrong sort of people.� He held out his hand to Duo who glared at it like he was trying to set it on fire. �I can tell who the right people are my self thank you.� Malfoy hissed and turned on his heel. �You don�t want to make an enemy out of me! Till the next time Maxwell, Yuy.� �We look forward to it.� Malfoy stormed out, his followers following him, a step behind. He pushed past Quatre who just entered with another blond haired girl. �What was that about?� He asked. �You�ve met Malfoy before?� Heero asked Duo. Duo nodded and told them how he had met him. �You know him as well?� �His family claim to be pacifists. But her dad was in the centre of You-Know-Who�s circle.� �Poor boy. That must have been really hard on him.� The girl said. Duo nodded. �This is Relena Peacecraft. I�ve just been up the driver. We�ll be there in about half an hour so you better change.� Duo looked out of the window at the darkening sky and nodded. �Mind leaving?� Heero asked Quatre coolly. �Fine.� Quatre glanced back at Duo before hurrying out, Relena in his wake. While they changed Duo tried to avoid looking at Heero. The tank top dropped in the ground revealing a hard chest, dark brown nipples and golden brown skin. Duo had to keep checking his mouth was hanging open and that he wasn�t drooling everywhere. �Duo?� �Sorry.� Duo turned round and tugged off his black jacket. He pulled of the white shirt beneath it but kept his trousers on as he pulled a black robe over his head. �Ready?� �Yep.� Just then the train came to a stop and Duo and Heero made their way off the train and on to the small dark platform. �First years this way! First years! Alright there Young Duo?� Duo pulled Heero in the direction of Howard. �Don�t laugh.� He hissed at Heero. �Alright �oung Duo.� �Heero! Hay Howard!� Duo and Heero joined the group of first years and followed Howard through a forest to a lake. Duo looked across the lake and moved closer to Heero. The Sanq Palace was nothing more than a large black looming shape on the landscape. �Four to a boat!� Howard cried. Duo and Heero piled into a rowing boat and were joined by Quatre and a Chinese boy Quatre introduced as Chang Wufei. As the boats skimmed across the inky black surface Duo twisted round to look at the approaching Palace. It was perched on top of a high mountain, it�s windows sparkling in the starry sky and there where so many turrets and towers you couldn�t count them all. The boats took them under the castle and into an underground harbour. Duo and Heero climbed out with the rest and together they followed Howard up on to high ground and some steps. There in front of them was a large double door and Howard lifted a hand and knocked, once, twice, and the door swung open. TBC� Man that was long! Duo�s a bit of a pervert in this isn�t he? Oh well.
