Summary: After being caught by Oz the 5 pilots are used by Oz to test out a virtual reality game (like FF7) but something goes wrong and they end up fighting for the lives until they can find a way out.

The Game Is On
The mission hadn’t gone well. Well any idiot could see that considering ALL 5 gundam pilots were now sitting on the floor of a dark cell deep inside of an oz base, which they had meant to be destroying.
No one spoke. Even Duo was sitting there, hands hanging between his legs with his head bowed and breathing quiet. Duo raised his head slowly and looked around without the others noticing. No one was even sitting beside each other. There was a good gap between Trowa and Quatre even though the two pilots were lovers. Wufei was in a corner, his eyes closed and his head held high. Duo himself sat in the opposite corner. In between them sat Heero, arms and legs crossed, his back straight and his Prussian eyes staring unseeing at the blond pilot directly in front of him. Duo watched Heero for a few minutes, wishing that maybe Heero sow him as more than just an ‘annoying baka’.
The future looked bleak. There was no one that could come save them as the only ones who knew where the pilots were, were the pilots themselves and now oz, but it wasn’t likely that oz would be freeing them some time soon. All the gundams had been captured as well.
The door slid open and the chef commander of the base walked in followed by 10 other oz soldiers all armed.
The pilots all looked up and study them.
“Gundam Pilots.” The base commander said. He pointed at Duo and two soldiers moved and stood in front of Duo.
Duo looked up at them. “Yeah?”
“Stand up 02.”
Duo looked at the gun. “If you’re gonna kill me I would rather be killed with me sitting down comfortable.”
“We would rather not kill any one 02.” The base commander said. “We are simply moving you all. One at a time.”
“To where?”
The base commander smiled. “Come and see.”
Duo stood up and raised his hands.
“Don’t try anything funny or we’ll kill your friends.”
“Where are you taking him?” Heero asked, his tone flat.
“Don’t worry, you’ll join him soon.”
“Not good enough.”
Heero jumped at the speed of light and the next thing anyone knew was the base commander was being strangled to death.
“Release him or I’ll kill 02.” A voice stated calmly.
Heero stepped back immediately. Duo was being held by his hair, a gun being pressed into the side of his neck.
“We are using you to try out our new training program. If you live through it we’ll let you go, free, no strings attached.”
“And if we don’t want to?”
“Bang. Your friend over there dies.”
The other gundam pilots stood up. “Take us then.”

The soldier holding Duo pushed him into a lab, the others following. 6 pods laid side by side and standing beside one of them was…
“Khushrenada!”
“Sir!”
Trieze turned and smiled at the soldiers and gundam pilots.
“I want to test this out. Is the safety installed?”
“It hasn’t been tested yet Sir.” The base commander said.
“Good, if anything goes wrong I order you know to free who ever is in danger!”
The base commander saluted as Trieze slipped into one of the pod.
“Someone gonna tell us the rules?” Duo asked.
Trieze nodded. “This is a virtual reality game, it puts you in place of the characters. You play them and decide everything that you do. The mission is to rescue the Princess and take her back to her Kingdom.”
“That’s your new training program?” Duo asked disbelievingly.
“This game lasts a week roughly, during that time you will have to use brain power to solve puzzle and clues and fighting skills to battle demons and dragons. If your character dies then you wake up automatically, the only other way to wake up is to finish the game. If the safety is disabled then the only way to wake up is to finish the game, if you die with the safety disable then you do die. There will be things that you can collect on your travel, health packs, food, drinks, money, ect. Do you all understand?”
The pilots all gave a nervous nod and they were placed in their pods, a breathing mask fell over their mouths and noses, a blindfold covered their eyes and cuffs tripped them in. A glass case covered them completely sealing the pods tightly closed.
“Five, four, three, two, one. Start!”
Stars flashed before their eyes and a strange feeling pulled them along in starry black tunnel.
Flash!
A bright light blinded them and the next thing they all felt was hard ground.
Heero looked up his eyes already adjusted to the bright light of day.
“Hay! Where are Duo, Quatre and Wufei?”
