Nominations may be made by any person who considers a property to be an asset to the community, including the home owner.
Nominations shall be in writing detailing the name(s), address and location (such as nearest side street or side road).
One nomination per ballot.
Nomination form shall be delivered to the Trillium committee as advertised annually including through our website @ www.geocities.ca/dunnvillehort
Closing date for nomination shall occur no later than the end of June. Judging shall occur within three weeks of the closing date of nominations.
A maximum of 15 trilliums are available to successful nominees.
A maximum score of 80 must be achieved to be considered for a Trillium. The top 15 shall be awarded an emblem.
Participants residing in the same residence are eligible to win a maximum of 5 Trilliums over 5 or more years.
In the event of a special circumstance as recognized by the Judging Committee additional Trilliums may be awarded.
A maximum of 3 Trillium Certificates shall be awarded to the commercial, industrial or institutional classification on the same point basis. However, the number of certificates issued may be reduced depending upon the number and quality of the nominations.
Winning properties will be photographed from point of judging (public property).
In the event of a tie, it is the right and responsibility of the Judging Committee to re-evaluate the tied participants.
