His oldest son was killed during the Civil War, so Ole received his son's war pension and insurance. Ole Olson Severson was the great grandfather of Walter 0. Clark. (handwritten here was; Floyd C. Clark, Rachael E. Clark, Neal C. Clark, and Forrest J. Clark, Helen Guelda Clark, Coila Jeanette Clark) His children were: 1. Tom Severson 2. Ole Severson 3. Severt Severson 4. Helena (Norwegian Helgelena) Severson. She married Knut Shure. 5. Johana Severson. The married Even (Norwegian Avid) Johnson. Even had two sisters: 1. Thora Johnson married Henry Maynel. 2. August 16, 1867 - died March 24, 1932. (She was killed by a Canadian Johnson Family Ancestors - Page 3 passenger train at Warrod, Minnesota while walking across the tracks during a blizzard).
