TARGET SHOOTING
I currently own two rifles, a Swiss K31 service rifle made in 1950 and a Ruger 10/22. The K31 is close in ballistics to a .308 caliber rifle, as the bullet is almost identical (7.5 mm vs. 7.62 mm) SPECIFICATIONS: Caliber: 7.5x55 Swiss (I reload with 30 cal. (308) Hornady bullets and either FNM or Norma brass) Magazine capacity: 6 rounds. Weight: Close to 9 pounds. For other details, you can look at the SwissRifles.com website here. Truly a wealth of info! This is my K31:

The row of cartridges on the top is the Swiss military issue cartridges (Berdan primed), which come packed ten to a box like a pack of candy, with a unzippable strip on the box that you have to remove. The row on the bottom is FNM, made in Portugal. These are Boxer primed, so I reload the brass. The gun has been refinished since this picture was taken. I used a light walnut Danish oil stain. It looks better to me!
