The William Thornton

The infamous floating restaurant and bar at Norman Island known for its public debauchery, some of which is pictured on the site.  The site also presents a short, interesting history of William Thornton, the architect of the capitol of the United States of America.  He was a local boy who did well and got a bar and restaurant named after him.

 

Pusser’s Rum

Pusser’s Rum comes from the former purveyors of rum to the British navy. When the Brits quit the practice of a daily “tot” of rum to all hands in 1970, the company set out to sell the rum to the world.
