Google

48900 items (I didn't read all!) I found an interesting site at www.graphicsnews.com
and a site from a company in the Netherlands looking to hire animators.

Yahoo

183 items. I joined the signature country newsgroup, a group that discusses computer graphics,
only to find that the members didn't care for Yahoo and went elsewhere.

Netscape

I found  mediachannel.org to be the most appropriate, but found nothing of interest there.

Ask Jeeves

Not much here either. I tried to access news.bates.edu but couldn't (Using the lab computers)

Lycos

Couldn't access Trumpet.com, the only source of interest here.
