Rushing forward towards the tomb, you reach out with fingerless-gloved hands to grasp some of the seemingly endless tentacles.
This proves a fairly simple task, as they are reaching for you, and within moments you have a grip around a bundle of the thin wires. Unfortunately, where your exposed flesh touches the black surface, you feel a terrible burning sensation, and your skin goes numb. Seconds later more and more of the tentacles are whipping around you, taking hold of your bare legs and leaching all nerve activity from them.
The numbing covers your entire body, and rises up towards your brain. You barely notice that your feet are no longer touching the floor, and you are being pulled towards the black thing in the tomb.
You never awaken.
