An brief examination of the bodies shows them all to be in a similar burned state to the undead one. There is no indication of how they came to this end; the walls are mouldy like the others, with no sign of heat. Presumably they were dragged here, perhaps by the zombie, but they must have been burned elsewhere.
None of the bodies carries anything more than severely burned scraps of clothing. Wrinkling your nose at the rotting stench, you investigate the first couple thoroughly, but you find nothing of use. With the zombie now apparently dead permanently, there seems to be nothing left to do but return to the other room.
