The Moors Murderers
Ian Brady and Myra Hindly
The case of the Moors Murderers Ian Brady and Myra Hindly was simpy a case of a dominant person overpowering a submissive person.  Not only was he dominant but had perverse ways of thinking, a pseudointellectual at best trying to get others to follow him, convincing himself that he was right.

Brady had a confused childhood, he was born an illegitamate child and abandoned by his mother, then he was passed from home to home.  He began to have sadistic tendencies such as torturing small animals.  Myra Hindley led a normal childhood, not known for her intelligence she was simply the good girl next door.

The couple both worked in a local store though to begin with they were not a couple, infact Brady being four years the elder showed Hindley the cold shoulder on more than one occasion which made her angry but made her want him even more.

Before long however the couple got together, by this time Myra was totally disolved in Ian Brady and worshipped him obeying his every desire.  She was not bright so his lessons on the Nazi's and the "good" work they did was outstanding to her, she took part in his sado sexual pleasures, photographing a lot of the events, after a short while she was dressing as a Nazi officer for him, she was no longer the same Myra Hindley.

Myra's sisters husband a David Smith seemed like the next candid disciple for Ian Brady and he would lecture him on the ways of the Nazi's, show him his collection of guns, and boast that he had killed a few already.

Ian was wrong however about David Smith although he showed enthusiasm and interest about his stories and collections when Brady made him witness him hacking a homosexual to death, this was real now, and was too much for David.  That night Smith did not leave his home or touch the phone for fear Brady may be watching the next day however he told the police what he had witnessed.

The police found the body, as well as suitcases filled with all the evidence that the police would need and that would disgust the world. Pornographic photographs of children, weapons, and tape recordings of some of the children pleading not to be undressed and wanting to go home.

They were responsible for at least 5 deaths, 4 of which were children. Brady and Hindley were sentenced to life, Brady was taken to a mental hospital as his physical and mental condition turned for the worst, and Hindley claimed to have reformed though all of her appeals have been denied.
